EURO 2016 was an odd tournament not as exciting as it could have been in terms of how nations played but feel Iceland & Wales brought a lot of fun to the Euros, then both sets of Irish fans & Iceland's fans were awesome throughout.
Wales for me were unlucky & could have got to the final but still a good run.
Over-rated was Austria people thought they would go far but were just awful
Under-rated was Iceland no-one gave them a chance but to get to the QF was something and fought till the end.

Player likely to get a transfer due to the Euros is Robson-Kanu but everyone knows that so i've decided Pazdan will he had a good tournament.

Actually as to Portugal, it's one of the most confusing stories in football history, because when you look at their results and style of play, they struggled throughout most of the tournament. In fact in the group stage they played much worse than anybody could predict, even you thought they're going to be higher in the group stage than they actually were. In the knockout stage they still struggled offensively, but at least got their defense tight and even though they weren't creating many chances, it was very difficult to create chances against them. Eventually they won the tournament, but won only 1 of their 7 games in 90 minutes.
If at any other point in time Portugal had a series of games which would end up: 1:1 with Iceland, 0:0 with Austria, 3:3 with Hungary, 0:0 with Croatia, 1:1 with Poland, 2:0 with Wales and 0:0 with France, everybody would say they're going through some kind of crisis. But as it happened, they won the European Championship :) Football is so unpredictable...and unjust.

Portugal got no natural striker/target man right now. Ronaldo isn't the right man to do the job. Eder is the only striker Portugal has and he is mediocre.
Toolinho Yes, I am Polish and I'm proud of my team. We got the best result ever. Why salty?) I was also a fan of the Portuguese team for many years. But this year Portugal played the least exciting football I ever seen them play and I watch them in every tournament since EURO 2000. That's an unbiased fact, that has nothing to do with the fact that we got eliminated by them.

Nobody perceives England to be any good - the non-English speaking world can clearly see they're a team of mediocre squad players and they play like it.
English people always think that their team will make the semis and every tournament they hype up their players,their team and themselves and when inevitably they crash out early (Didnt make it out of groups in WC 2014 and here losing to Iceland) and then the people complain.Anyone with half a brain knows England are absolutely terrible and have been since '66

Pepe should've been the player of the tournament. We know they will always give it to a player of an offensive position, but Pepe was just brilliant in all knockout games. Completely out of this world how well he played.

2008: they lose in quarters final against germany 3-2 in a very equilibrated game
2012: they lose in semi final against spain in penaltys and Portugal dominated the game
They were not expected to pass the quarters because of who they would have to verse if they got higher in their group plus they were the only side in their group to not beat Austria

Hey Spence...did you ever consider that in the last 15/16 years, Portugal had amazing teams that played that beautiful kind of football that you mostly only see the Brazilians play, that Portugal had amazing players and amazing technique and they always ended up losing in the quarter finals or semi finals or even the final as it was in 2004 and that in 2016 Portugal played in a way that is not at all typical of their usual football, it was almost what you could call ultra defensive football but that it was very effective and hence they ended up winning the cup? Consider this because it makes sense.

Nah but seriously guys, if we buy a world class LB and Midfielder then I genuinely believe we can do it. We are a force to be reckoned with considering we have that amazing Fitness coach that made Muller, Lewandowski etc. what they are today and him being at LFC excited me so much! Then we have the increased stadium capacity for better atmosphere than before, plus Jurgen Klopp can start fresh on a new contract having promised us the title and starting the FULL season. Also, you can't deny that our squad is already brilliant now so we only need a couple of additions. I genuinely believe this is our year, but whether you agree with me or not, that's entirely up to you :)

Payet was definitely the best player of the tournament ,also griezman didnt score any important goals execpt the one penalty he scored against Germany so in a way ronaldo andd Payets Goals were much more important

I am half French and support the French national team. Deschamps lost the plot when it came to selection. Like you said he stuck with the team that beat Iceland and Germany, but Iceland just aren't very good, and the two goals against Germany were some what lucky. The midfield in the final should have been Kante holding with Sissoko and Pogba further forward. Pogba just couldn't get in the game when staying deep.

Sure, in fact, Portugal won. But let's be honest. They came 3rd in their group against Hungary and Iceland, they literally got saved by a new tournament model. They only won 1 game in 90 mins. And that was against Wales. Portugal's football and individual results were more of a disappointment.

Sometimes Spencer can be somewhat of an ignorant...When the tournament started, Portugal for him was "Ronaldo, Ronaldo and...oh yes, Ronaldo"..Yes he was important, but at the end of the day it was our defence and one of the least liked players of the national team who won us the game..Yes Ronaldo worked as a coach throughout the match, but he didn't contribute ON the pitch...I hope this victory proved Spencer wrong

The Barometer was so bad, Ramsey and Özil played better than Payet. Payet started well, padded some stats for himself, but he wasn't all that. Call me biased all you like, if you watched every game thoroughly, you'd most likely agree with this.
