Mike, I gotta say that is one of the nicest guitars that you've done a review on and probably one of my favorites. I love the all black matte finish and that sharp cutaway on the bottom horn really sets it off. The sound test at the end was killer!

Bought one - only pink available - abolutely impressed with the guitar bag and accessories. Got a good laugh at the spelling on the box but the guitar plays and tunes easy. Overall quality is way more than I have experienced with other low cost guitars. Its a keeper.
Enough room in that body for an active pickup setup. Get bigger pots, drill accordingly. Active picups and a patch of tape beside the pots for a 9v. Some.locking tuners and shes ready to shred.
Mike, by the time I got around to ordering one of these, they were SOLD OUT and aren't expecting more until March of 2024! Any suggestions on a similar budget or Chibson in the vein of the LTD EC-1000?
I know Asmuse makes one but I have not seen it in person. I have had other guitars by them that were good though. Here's a link to the style you like amzn.to/3RgMyHz
Awesome review dude!! Im definitely going to buy one at some point! Also whats the name of the song in the backing track? Souds epic and i want to try en learn it 😅
Skeptical on a Fender factory, where did you get that info? The neck is made out of toona mahogany wood Body is poplar Model is known for ground issues at the bridge (requires bridge replacement).
This looks amazing! I hope they’ll do an Explorer style like this. I love the ESP look. You made some really good points for improvement like the strap buttons and intonation needing to be set before it leaves the factory. I wish this had locking tuners and active pickups, or offered these as an option for a few bucks more. However, I’m glad they put a hot one in the bridge. Overall, this is an amazing buy - absolutely the best I’ve seen for affordable guitars.
Thanks Masha. I agree. At this price it's very good. I have actually been told by Fesley that the improvements will be made in the future. They seem to be listening. An Explorer option would be very cool! Thanks for watching 🙂
I found a new hobby: Buying budget Gibsons. In these days it is really easy to find a Les Paul Studio or an SG Special around 500 to 800 bucks. Got a 2016 SG Special with mini humbuckers from Italy today (600) and a Les Paul Vixen (700) last week. Gibson is actually becoming budget.
Honestly this reminds me of another product made by for Fender . The Jackson Monarch LP style is very similar to this great deal by the way what I would consider a mod platform guitar for sure.
Dang it. I just ordered one. The satin stain on the back and the satin black just does it for me. I have locking tuners ordered, as well as dunlop strap locks. If only they would do a carved top, but this is far ahead of an Epiphone special. Thanks for the tip!! 🤘
That's interesting since West Creek Guitars 🎸 🎵🎶 has the same issue with Gibson style guitars the bridge is placed on backwards at the factory you think they would correct this by now... The guitar looks and sounds awesome I would keep it stock except for the strap locks I agree 💯 with you on that... Cheers 🍻 🥃🥃 🎸
This guitar appears to be no longer available. There's only a single comparable version, which is pink. None of their other guitars look as nice. I was excited about this for a minute. Ah. They sold out and will return in March.
@@FultonStreetBeats - Ha. Thanks! I just saw that on their website. I was surprised that they have a different guitar listed as the same model. Thanks for the review and the response. Hopefully, random purchases all have the same QT.
I bought a cheap 250 dollar epiphone les Paul 100. I paid an extra 50 for the special heritage cherry burst paint. It was a walnut body nothing special. It sounded good pretty nice humbuckers. Looked good because the middle ofvthe Hurst was semi transparent and it had good looking natural wood grain. Nothing to fantastic. But I traded a cheap guitar for a pair of seymore Duncan humbuckers and damn it changed it into a loud growly monster.those pickups gave it that heavy metal chunk that I grew up with. Add in a nice distortion pedal and it had good sustain.
Nice find, sir! Just added this ESP LP inspired model to my wish list. Yeah - Some of those UPS deliverers can be real a-holes the way they treat their cargo that is their prime reason for being...
I think the ESP/LTD EC-10 beats it, but just by a little. Great p'ups, and body contour, it's kind of hard to beat on the under $150 range. I'll hand it o Fesley, they're getting there, but I still think if you're shopping in the budget range, the Harley Benton shop should be one of your first stops. The Guild Surfliner, imo is probably the best $250ish option out there as of this posting, it's on sale almost half off on Reverb(from $499 reg price, to $269 now), and hell yeah I got one of those.
If you think budget guitar brands hand pick guitars to send out , you a greatly mistaken. High end companies don't even do it. I've had plenty of not so good guitars. These things come over on a boat the reps never see them or touch them. Nothing is special picked.
My les paul looked like any other. Only was flat body no binding and simple dot fret inlays.had the basic 4 knobs the pick guard and the toggle up on top. at face look its easily recognizable as a cheap les paul.
Nice looking guitar. This is not a criticism but Fender, Ibanez, Epiphone don't have factories in China or Indonesia. They contract these guitars to be built by huge manufacturers like Cort ( Indonesia) , Samick and the huge ones in China which are in no way " Fender or Epiphone or Ibanez" factories. Ibanez does have a very tiny manufacturing shop in Japan and Hollywood where they build guitars for their endorsing star guitarists like Stevie Vai etc. Most Esp stuff is built by IYV in Vietnam and these companies like to use the term " our factory " but that is just a way to gloss over the fact that their competitor's guitars are made by the same folks in the same factory usually. Great channel and review.
