If you ever want to gain access to a restricted building or room all you have to do is bring a big ladder. Just walk up to security, show them the ladder, ask them to get the door for you, and proceed to your desired destination. It's that easy.
Not here In Toronto lol. Even when we are all clear before going , when we arrive they ask us for our name, company and phone number. But yeah there's been a few that where far too easy.
I enjoyed this very much. She is interesting, engaging, and very personable. It is easy to see why she is so successful at what she does. Thank you for sharing her with us.🖤🇨🇦
Yea I’m in. I’ve considered the idea before and how to go about starting something like that. It’s tough cause you can’t necessarily advertise your illegitimate experience
@declanlee6894 yes you can. Look up defcon talks on physical security and social engineering. See what they talk about and find out if there are any security communities in your area.
I loved this interview. So interesting how she started and where she ended up. I like that she said she’d never go to the dark side. People hacking is the way forward, it’s near impossible to overcome the technical barriers, unless you can hack and I guess that might make it a bit easier. Thank you for sharing this.
I adore that you have Jenny as a guest. Until you understand the field, you don't fully grasp how easy and widespread this is due to human error via a multiple of factors. Social Engineering is huge and not as understood as we'd like it to be.
It's pretty much the only form of hacking left. Every single data breach in the last 15 years has come down to human error. A weak password or a gullible employee. It's always a human.
Oh she is doing such a good job explaining why we IT people do what we do for security. Unfortunately there will always be those who ignore the security briefings and use Post-its for passwords. But in the end, if you use your company laptop to create stuffy pron with your BF/GF we will find out and will keep copies.
My friends and I when we were teenagers used these techniques to sneak into Disneyland for free. Not once, but 7 times. Maybe I should have done this job. Might have been good at it.
There was an Indian who got into a hospital and worked as a surgeon for 11 years before getting sussed out, in Sweden. He had no medical experience at all.
I love hearing the retold story bc it is alot more helpful to know she is a people hacker. And that those security guards were strapped. I understand why she was terrified. And why it was a close call
That’s got to be the funest job in the world ! You get to have the adventure of it without being a scumbag person and are actually doing a good thing as well !
I find it really hard to believe that in a private bank where they are obviously aware of security threats that you can just stick a bandage on and get someone to open a biometric lock. I mean I worked in a bank 25 years ago and if someone could not get into the vault area they would be sat down to wait so someone could verify them another way. Also the one in Asia, you do not do recognisance for 1 night and go on then go on a Friday having not observed on a Saturday. I think she is giving you her greatest hits and omitting the times she fkd up
The idea of it seems exciting and entertaining. If you are not on the receiving end you will not know how invasive it feels. And so even with permission it's a job that's really not recommended and even she understands. You never know what ppl need to keep hidden. Some ppl are hiding things for good. And she strongly feels that everyone should use their skills for good.
we got a little device called an underdoor it is also a hack. i wonder if this if this is a job my mate whos been on , and this is on my fathers ashes, Every Roof in Melbourne city. ive seen him break thru the most fancy doors and leave them without a mark. amazing rooftop pools in this city we spent 2018 new years on a roof that had fireworks LAUNCHING OFF it. loudest half hour of my life. also there was about 30 random urbexers on that same roof that night. have some amazing photos. but yer name a building in melbs and ill email u a photo of us up there. so many storys...
When you look at someone and you just know they are hired to enforce security..you cannot laugh your way out or smile. They are there to enforce security
She consistently changes details of the stories? Or am I the only one that noticed. 🤔 multiple times but one example is she said "we got a logo off the Internet and wrote the letter then signed it HR and a random signsture" then 20 seconds later the interviewer says "so you got in the building with one printed of piece of paper" and the she replies "oh no I drew it all up by hand" 🤣
My first burgulry was on a chocklet factory we emptyed the place we had a chain gang thir was about 6 of us pasing all the boxes of sweets to ech over but id never bracke in to someones house but if it wernt tyed down id have it
Wow. If it's that easy to get an emotional reaction from you; (since you admit to being "very annoyed", over some word usage), you would be easily manipulated/scammed.
Okay you have been hired to do these things. The fakish uncertainty is a bit overdone. I think just relating the stories would be better on their own. Just my opinion.

Fascinating woman! Love the workings of her mind…thank you for this interview.
She is very interesting. Loved listening to her stories. I wonder how they research the specific people like the receptionist. ❤
Brilliant, I totally love her, what a great guest. "Death before decaf" 😂
Of all the interviewees on this channel, I want to hang out and get a beer with this one the most.
Great interview.
She is DEFINITELY part of the firm... One of the BEST stories I've heard, would love to meet her and speak to her more 🤝🏼
I want to buy her a pint and just listen to all her stories!!
Great channel, and great interviewer , I really enjoy listening to these, intelligent questions also

Very true , people grow complacent, and are habitual until errors are made or bad habits form.
Simplistic power of belief: the real pandemic. Sadly people are easily fooled!
It's pretty much the only form of hacking left. Every single data breach in the last 15 years has come down to human error. A weak password or a gullible employee. It's always a human.

Not quite bro. I don't want to see end users getting freaky, it's bad enough dealing with the stupidity every day.

The fact that a simple don't close door piece of paper in a bank didn't cause concerns is insane
The bandaged arm thing is something Ted Bundy did. He'd wrap his leg and get onto crutches, make himself look vulnerable. Very clever.
Fear flattery and greed
Ooh I never knew that was considered ppl hacking. I was fully prepared for a geek explain
I love how the comments are overlooking the gold part lol 😆
