The arcade hardware is a tad more powerful. Hence no loading times and less pixelation on the floor. Also the rotating 3d faces on the select screen that was missing from the psx version as well.
6:10 will always remind of king and paul duking it out. We had a arcade machine in the corner store back in mexico. Some where in 1996 It would play so loud we live 3 houses down the road. I would hear this song been engraved in my head since i was a kid. Good old times
4:45 Oh shit. I just realized that Kazuya and Paul are nothing but Ken and Ryu rip-offs. That's STRANGE man. Later in the series Kazuya was missing from half of the games, and the playstyles couldn't be further apart nowadays.
This was my first experience with 3d graphics when I was 10.
3:23 I don't care if it's meant to be an android, his tiny legs and hulking body are hilarious!
30 years later... still makes me feel like it was a great advance in videogames... the best fighting game in the 90s...
Growing in this era was awesome
Yes it was
yeah bro
Absolutely
Back when I was younger and when the character portraits moved when you selected them, it felt so creepy to me haha
The icon animations were removed in the PS1 version
That ticks me off to this day
@Stefano Pavone I see. Does the arcade version of Tekken 2 have the same feature?
@Stefano Pavone The unanimated icons look creepy
I loved to play this videogame
I've found it funny that Heihachi sounded like Jack in this game.
@デンキモンDenkimon! Budget problems
"ruh ruh...ruh ruh... ruuh ruh!"
Prototype Jack and Ganryu also.
kazuya and lee has same too!
Heihachi was voiced by the same actor who voiced Jack
25 Years of Tekken Power!
Now, it’s 30 years.
@@CarbyGuuGuu You got that right.

It's been 2 years but still here
Arcade ahead of its time compared to consoles.
I’m_Lonely You’re_Lonely wasn’t it just literally PlayStation hardware in a cabinet?
@@MikeZdoesitz Namco System 11 > PlayStation
Lol, they used the ps1 in the arcade cabinets

@@MrJames-eb6rpcharacter models in the AC are slightly higher poly as well
Actually the Playstation version added intro cgi and endings cutscene for the first fighters, wich is really good.
smash and nostalgia brought you here!!
Tekken:the bandai namco's counterpart of sega's virtua fighter
Made by the same creator too, Seiichi Ishii. He only worked on Tekken and Tekken 2, though.
That sounds like a parallel between capcom's street fighter and SNK's fatal fury in it's origins
Espetacular ese juego de Tekken de arcade fue muy bueno saludos desde argentina 🇦🇷

1:28 I get hyped when this song comes on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
6:10 We'll hear this again in 2. When we fight Alex and Roger.

So the cutscenes were added to the home version?
Yeah
9:30 That ice must be cold on their feet
Thanks for posting this because ive never seen tekken before but why dors it sound like a dumptruck when the guy hits jack 😮
Jack is an android.
Кто сказал что первый Текке был трэшатиной? Нормально выглядит..бой шустро идёт. Уж точно лучше виртуа файтер😂
Great video game

Heh, you can totally play as Kazuya in Smash with Ryu and Ken
It's no surprise if this is true, in fact, Paul in Tekken 1 did see Kazuya as his rival.
Where's his ending
The arcade version doesn't have any the endings. They're only in the PS version.
Is it possible to change the blood color from green to red on the ps1 version?
There's no blood shed in Tekken.
That’s not blood, it’s an impact VFX. It’s a staple of Tekken.
Where can I buy this game?
Trying to buy the arcade cabinet would cost a lot, tbh
This game inspired "Virtua Fighter", right?
The other way around.
Also, the first Tekken game were designed by the same guy who made VF
Virtua Fighter came first, then came Tekken
puta merda, pegar pra jogar esse jogo hoje em dia não dá, gameplay durona vey
É um jogo de 94', e Virtua Fighter 1 saiu um ano antes, oq ce esperava kkkk 😂

You mean Asuka? She wouldn’t make her debut until Tekken 5.
The Playstation soundtrack sounds so much nicer.
