One of the hardest “god” bars I’ve heard in nerdcore is still with dizzyeight in Rustage’s “Madara vs Aizen rap” where he said “You really wanna box with a god till you end up in a box sent to god.”
I’ll be real Deku claiming 1-A can’t keep up isn’t pompous it’s straight fact everyone had to jump him at the same time while he was running on multiple days of near no sleep being injured from fights and then after that Izuku still held back and it took all of them to keep up when he tried to run and then doing that nearly knocked out Iida and we are told literally no one else in class could have done what Iida did so they even got lucky there. So no it’s not pompous for him to say that it’s just true.
*I kinda feel like you're missing the point there tho, he had to be firing on all cylinders for him to stay ahead of class 1-A, one mistake against somebody trying to kill him and it would be wraps, which is why they went after him*
Yo man. I really like your reactions 'cause you touch on stuff that others don't seem to care about that much, like the actual in-world lore bars that connect with the characters. You know what's happening with the story and you connect the bars with the actual like...representation OF the characters? I dunno the exact words to get out what I'm trying to say but I hope you get it. Deku and DPS are my boys and I'm glad you did a reaction to this one. I truly am. I love hearing people's different breakdowns and analysis, especially when they KNOW the characters and the story, AND have a sense for music and the lyrical craftmanship involved with making raps.
