    In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.
    There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.
    Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

    The United States have cut emissions 15% since 2010 while Canada has cut emissions 1% . The US has done it with no carbon tax , but with inventing new technologies to burn fuels cleaner .Per person the average Canadian now uses 30 % more energy per day then a person does in the United States .

  • @AnthonyFrancella
    @AnthonyFrancella หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Your video did not mention the Canada Carbon Rebate once. Two parents and two kids in Ontario will receive $1,120.00.
    The Canadian Taxpayers Federation estimates the average spends $300/year in carbon taxes to heat their home, if using natural gas, so let's subtract that and we get $820 remaining.
    Let's say someone drives an SUV and gets 10L/100km and drives 20,000km per year which works out to 2000L of gasoline. At the current $0.143/L of gasoline, that works out to $286 leaving $534 remaining which is around half of the total rebate. Of course, the question is, how much do Canadians pay in inflation of other goods like food which require trucking. Does the carbon tax add more than $534 to annual household spend? I'm not too sure.
    Additionally, at 4:37 you said that the Government should use the carbon tax revenues for actual climate initiatives. This would take away the $1,120 rebate that the Canadian family of 4 would receive, causing more budget distress for the mom taking her kid to hockey practice that you mentioned earlier in your video. Regardless, a lot of what you mentioned is being invested in.
    There is already Federal EV Rebates which is $5,000 tax credit on qualified vehicles. I can't speak to other provinces but Ontario there are many transit projects ongoing. Ontario already receives 91% of all of energy from non-carbon sources. Wind now accounts for 24% of Ontario's energy generation. Nuclear, which is Ontario's highest energy source, is finally being invested in again with investments in small modular reactors and the first large scale nuclear plant in 30 years.
    A lot of the energy investments is a provincial level, not federal. It's time we stop putting so much emphasis on our federal government doing all the things like energy, healthcare, child card, pharamacare and they should be focusing on foreign policy, military and other federal responsibilities.
