    Thank you very much for the video and informative content. Could you please elaborate more on the failure of TNV model or let's say different failures available in the MCalibration software? For instance, what if we want to consider failure in this tensile test of the Polycarbonate?

    Is there a specific reason to use TNV model? If I have true stress vs. true strain data (for different strain rates), abaqus gives me an option of modeling it as elastic-plastic material where input plastic stress vs strain data in a tabular format (and I do that for various strain rates).

      One of the main reasons not to use an elastic-plastic material model is that it will never predict the unloading response well. It always over predicts the residual strain, for example. It also does not extrapolate to higher or lower strain rates well. The TNV model solves those problems.
