Thank you that was helpful. I am a Manufacturing engineer and have background in 6 sigma but unemployed at the moment. Is it possible to start off with the green belt and skip the yellow? I mean is it a condition that I have to be working to apply for the green belt?

There are no prerequisites and one level builds off of the other, so you will not miss out on anything important. Hi Himanshu, White Belt certification is generally offered for free. It is a very basic certification where the training may only amount to 15-30 minutes. Organizations really do not place much value on this certification. With that said, it can still serve to be beneficial for those who want to see if Six Sigma is right for them.

will the certification authority screen profiles based on the pre-requisites you mentioned into the course or will they just teach and let us attend the course and appear for the exam
