Great tutorial! A few notes - you can actually use the notched scissors to shave off the outer sheath on extended lengths of the cable - may not apply for all ABFs but works a treat on the Stingray. Also, when starting to separate individual strands you never want to grab the fibres from the end with you finger - clearing off the first few centimetres of the acryalte with strippers can leave a sharp and jagged end on the fibre. I have managed to pierce through my finger with them when being a bit clumsy, working in the dark - as it often is on the field. What you want to do instead is grab the gel-stripped part from the side and roll them between your thumb and finger to separate them. Each profession has its inherent hazards but we try to mitigate them as best as we can.
