Thank you for taking the time to show how you get started doing this. I love collecting diecasts, and if i can make my own that is even better!!!! awesome video and very informative!
You mostly have to go over it. The easy way is painting over with diecast paint. The professional way is taking off the chassis and applying paint thinner to the diecast.
You could do that but I learned that priming it or spray painting it doesn't make too much of a difference in the final product. Plus you'll want to disemble the diecast or block areas you don't want to prime with masking tape
@user-ky9df8uz6v Haha you're all good, as for tips, I say to keep an eye on their feedback as a seller and see how many items the seller has sold in the past. I know its a little too simple, but that has always been my way of determining who to buy from.
This is a video that I need, thank you for this😅

This was very helpful. I’m looking to make a custom myself. And this video helped me out a lot.
Glad to hear it!
Great video, I just make my own templates, and I print my own decals, I use water slide decals
What sizing do you print at?
I would make a #84 Jimmie Johnson LOWE'S 1/64.
Can I use a hairdryer?

Would these next gen decals look good on gen 6’s?
No
This was really helpful
Thank you for the help mate
You can get the background color removed too
Is it possible you can get a digital version of the diecast templates and just print them to save money?
I've heard bad things abt pattos place, I went to get stickers of of there though
Will this work on the white interior authentics?
Are there blank cars you can get or do you have to buy a car and go over it?
You mostly have to go over it. The easy way is painting over with diecast paint. The professional way is taking off the chassis and applying paint thinner to the diecast.
That’s what I did
When I did it I did Joey logona 1/64 and I saw his hut brothers pizza car
What if I were to make the entire scheme custom instead of buying it somewhere?
Can we get a tutorial with the water slide method?
There is a way i can create my own templates and what the size?
You can't create your own peel and stick
What size do you print it?
I am getting one
would a hairdyrer work
Did you ship with air mail or how did you have them ship with platto
I did the priority air shipping due to it coming to the states in 1/3rd the time
When did you start making customs?
I didn't start regularly making customs till about 18 months ago. The 52 truck was one of the first when I started
Can I just use regular paint?
Yes you can, it's just going to have most of a flat look than Shiney look
Thank you! I’m hoping to get a bunch of decals for Christmas!
Is priming it fine?
You could do that but I learned that priming it or spray painting it doesn't make too much of a difference in the final product. Plus you'll want to disemble the diecast or block areas you don't want to prime with masking tape
I want to do this so bad but my parents won't order from eBay 😡
What about Patto’s Place?
@@robertpullen892 SAME
Yk both of these websites r half legit right?
Never had issues with either of them, and I have ordered hundreds of decals from both.
I’m fried💀
