Fox is perhaps centrist in the sense that there are people crazier than they are, but they are not centrist in any useful or meaningful way. They're still the network that knowingly and intentionally misled their audience about the 2020 election (see the Dominion lawsuit - their own internal communications show that they didn't believe in the 'steal'). They're still of the opinion that Comey should have prosecuted Hillary of reckless practices involving classified info, but are OUTRAGED that Trump (despite committing far worse crimes and with better evidence and clear intent) would be charged. They're still the network that was dumbfounded that people can have two races.... TWO! I mean, Kamala HAS to pick, right? Is she black or indian? Pick one! You can't be two things!
Fox is a nuthouse. I've never seen Ms. Timpf's show. I wasn't super-impressed by this interview, but she does seem to at least be willing to criticize some of the FOX sacred cows. I doubt she lasts there. But I wish her luck.

Societal division is nothing new. The United States of America was founded during a literal war of rebellion. It took us several tries to ratify a constitution. We fought the bloodiest war, a civil war, in our history less than a hundred years after our founding. We've been divided by two major political parties nearly the entirety of our nation's history. We've resolved our most momentous divisions with disastrous compromises. Any unity we enjoyed has been a result of either complacency or disinterest. Which is the way it should be. Division only becomes consequential when the stakes are magnified by vast government resources.

The Stop Woke Act does not prohibit freedom of speech. It simply regulates when certain topics can be introduced in schools. The topics are still introduced during a child's education, just not until they reach a certain age. Limiting what third parties, like a school, are permitted to expose other people's children to, by age, has a long tradition in law and jurisprudence.

Imagine the (dysfunctional) governmentally controlled education system exercising it's power to control it's curriculum that is enforced by means of state certification monopoly
Pretending the authoritarian education system isn't subservient to government edict is not a good basis for argumentation; I wish libertarians making the "free speech" case would acknowledge the difference between public free speech and governmentally enforced internal directive, two completely different things
The proper argument would be in the direction of divorcing government control from education given it's track record of failure, but without a clearly viable alternative to the unignorable dysfunction, the pubic won't buy that

In terms of flag burning, it would apply only if the flag in question WAS STOLEN. When it comes to social media, by siding with social media using the "private property" argument, the libertarian intelligensia is essentially making the case of a contract of adhersion (i.e. take it or leave it) where someone has no choice or ability of redress if a social media platform (like Facebook) or falsely acuses or even slanders a user. That is not consistent with individual rights and results in the company committing fraud.

I listened to the section at least twice and I still don't understand how drag queens saved her life. I especially wanted to know why drag queens are OK.
I think the problem with the "drag queens in schools" is that it is all part of the narrative where the government will allow indoctrination into everything anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-common sense, but also outlaw having a Bible on the teacher's desk.
I think the trans thing is much more complicated. Maybe start with "END FGM".

I may, perhaps, be able to shed some insight as I was also in an abusive relationship for a long time. She talks about the mental control the abuser has, and how you start to believe certain things about yourself. Kat mentioned thinking 'no one will ever love you' and 'you're a terrible person.' Also, you learn to be aware of *everything* about yourself. Everything you say, how you look, things you do. So when she says she saw the drag queens just being "unapologetically them" it changed her. It likely freed her to be herself again and accept who she is, where she is, and not make excuses or apologize for it, as she was 'required' to do for her abuser. Hope this helps.
Side note: there are some good drag queens, that are just out there to have fun and want nothing to do with children or indoctrinating them. But lately, there are groomers parading as drag queens and those are the ones that are not OK to have around children, obviously.

The 1st Amendment says nothing about protesting the government. It says the government can't deny you the right to petition the government for redress. Neither can it deny you the right to assemble peaceably. However, very few modern protests are peaceable. Blocking public rights of way or trespassing on private and public property are not peaceable acts. They are civil disobedience. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Im a big fan of Kat's one liners. But this is an hour long. She keeps doing one liners though. She has a sentence on her book. and then says its expensive having a baby. Well, she could have talked about the medical industrial complex. Nope. Chase oliver was mentioned once? I only listened to half and the bit at the end because its just one liners and this is not an interview. Can someone sit down with Kat, and like explain how difficult this interview is? She really didn't even explain what a libertarian is, and the differences on Faux news. Im a libertarian and I love what Kat says, but one line at a time.

This division didn't happen until social media gave people a way to speak their minds, something that rarely happens when face to face. When real feelings are revealed it's apparent that we have little in common with the other side. Unity is not possible at this point.

Not sure I agree, average person didn't feel this way until social media started shaping what you could/couldn't see. The more you see the same thing, the more you start to believe it.
Public school started removing critical thinking. Kids grow up to simply repeat what they get from someone in a position of authority. This carries over into adulthood.

I recall an event in the news several years ago when Timpf had water poured over her head or similar in a public place in Brooklyn. My surmise is that Timpf's views have much more to do with social pressure from her chosen peers than they do a reasoned examination.
