- Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips of '90s pop trio Wilson Phillips all agree that it was "chaos" growing up with their famous parents. Carnie’s dad is Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys and Wendy and Chynna are the offspring of John and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas and The Papas. The women also share with Kelly Clarkson how their atypical upbringing affects how they parent their own children.

What I admire about the three members of Wilson Phillips, besides being good musicians, is the fact that they were willing to admit their faults or frailties, such as drug addiction, and yet be willing to conquer them, and attempt to keep their lives as healthy and productive as possible. God love them!

Actually yes but there's more to it but not wishing to dredge up family sh*t he said what she said BUT no doubt she WAS in a dark place. Chynna's sister Mackenzie Phillips had a ten year incestuous relationship her father John Phillips even when she was married to her own husband. These are the Mamas and the Papas you DON'T want he have anything to do with!
i love how China Phillips talks of her faith , shes not ashamed of jesus , and shes risking everything even saying his name on the air , pray for her , you know she has to battle the devil , everytime she lifts up jesus ,to the world .

I was the same way Kelly! I loved Wilson Phillips during my middle school years back in 1990 and had no clue who their parents were until I was an adult many years later hahaha.
Funny, I remember back when Wilson Phillips was on the radio in 1990, all the DJs would always bring up the fact that they were the daughters of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas.
Loved them in the 90s and then they stepped away... until the last few years. Now with their appearance and fantastic performance on Masked Singer I wonder what they will do next?
