This may be one of the coolest releases from FMS. As you said scalers will go crazy with it. It will be interesting to see how it performs after several runs outside.Were the glitches you ran into be a serious problem. But, they put a lot of thought into this one and a lot of features.

I like that it has electric diffs unlike the hg 10th scale one, but i think i still like the hgs detail better, maybe its just the paint and wheels idk
Certainly more features. But the HG is certainly a beast of a truck and weighs a ton! Haha

Don’t let him see this comment haha. I keep it simple with a small Sony ZV1, no expansive or fancy lenses, I just think I’ve been using it long enough to work out how to get a good shot. Appreciate the feedback, it’s nice when people notice the finer details 👌

I like the new fms, unfortunately the proportions are a bit off, and there are some flaws that will need to be fixed,
I (personal opinion) think it’s a bit too expensive compared to the hg p408, which is better (in my opinion)

My Tamiya Hummer is the same scale. Thinking body and wheel swap

Looks like a good match for my FJ45. I am glad you placed them together on the bench to see how accurate it is. We all know that sometimes scale doesn't interpret well in toy and hobbies. Great review.

but it made me thinking... the mechanicals (fully independent, portals, 2 speed gearbox) would be absolutely PERFECT for an Ultra 4 style truck/buggy (live rear would be a bit better... but LGRP's Jordan runs fully independent with portals on his Lambroghini, and he's top 10 material in qualifiers). the absolute dearth of proper Ultra4 RCs (at any scale) is really depressing

It is funny that both the redcat rs10 and now a fms have that 4 mode 4 wheel steering, mixed in the radio...but a $400 axial doesn't.

What an awesome Hummer. Beautiful detailed. The driver looks like Lara Croft. 👍 they got the speed on it correct. 2speeds Slow and very slow. Just like the real thing😂. I drove the military 998 piece of shit in Iraq. What a piece of shit. 😅. It was slow, and the top speed was 75mph with the wind pushing it from the back. I do love the rugged look but not the power plant. Plus our trucks were all light armored fiberglass doors. 😑
Good review, if you can apply better lighting it will be prefect. 5:33 The wheels and tires look too dark.
fms is making sick cars… but they are getting quite expensive.. 370$ usd… that’s 500$ or so canadian PLUS shipping and duty.. i’ve been digging wpl d12 awesome truck and sooooo cheap i have no idea how it’s so tough and performs so well this is same but they are very expensive in the end same price as most 1/10

So after stumbling across your videos, I just ordered a Unimog last night. Today I found this H1 Hummer video and I’m wondering is there a way to raise the suspension up a little bit higher to give it a little more aggressive stance? I know absolutely nothing about RC vehicles so forgive me if that’s a dumb question lol.
This is a meh for me. I have several FMS products, but am not interested in another model I'm afraid to take outside. They might have gotten me if it were in US military trim though. I love my Willys, but don't drive it on anything but carpet. The 4x4 Atlas I can take outside.

Changing from high to low glitchted on my FMS Jimmy. Turned out that the gear changing servo got jammed on a badly placed wiring loom. Easy to fix.
It's cool and extremely scale but damn the Hummer is an UGLY truck in my opinion of course! Top review even thought its not for me! 😁👌

Tomley rc. Would you please help me? I have the og fmx chevrolet and i want to put a brushless system in it. Do i needs a new transmission to do that? Especially because of the motor mounts
I got this thing already and one axle already broke, any suggestions where to get spare parts for this scale? Also the high speed gear doesn't work anymore after 3 days... it seems like if the gears do not fully engage and there is no movement forward. It's quite a hassle to rip this thing apart.

Some portal axles like a real humvee would have solved the ground clearance issue. Otherwise, a very scale looking rig

The details are great but they clearly made the tires too small and the suspension too low. They tires just don't look like the right scale.

Has anyone had any hesitation between going forward to reverse? Sometimes I have to push the trigger 3 times to get it to back up.
I don't think you can get much better for scale detail it's just a shame they don't make upgrade kits like lift kits but that's isn't to say someone couldn't tinker with it
Had the same issue with the steering on my power wagon,have to cycle power to get it to recenter idk bummer but these trucks are fun anyways

I think that's a good way to learn how to use the rift staring and something like that first before you spend all the money on one and it doesn't work the way you want it

I'm loving the detailing on this new Hummer but I think FMS may have got a little over excited about the details and forgotten about long-term reliability and durability. I'm sure the steering modes and 2WD/4WD/high/low range/diff-lock configurations will require constant adjustment. Also, not sure it is really necessary for the engine fan to move as you won't see this in reality. Same for the steering wheel movement. But the main issue for me is that the proportions don't look quite right. On the real H1, the side sills look much higher and on this model the wheels look a little small as well. High ground clearance was always one of the real Hummer's outstanding features but this FMS is not good in that regard. I know it is more money but I'd go for the 1:10 HG-P415A Pro instead.
The HG’s proprtions aren’t right. The hood should be a bit longer. You can tell by looking at the hood latches and right under those on the real one vs the HG.
@@willrh1022 I have actually lined up a side view of the real Hummer H1 against the p415A and it is a very close match. I think the bonnet latch is bigger on the model to make it more durable at small scale. Also, the wheel arches are cut slightly bigger on the model and this makes the bonnet latch closer to the back of the wheel arch moulding.
