Thanks! I struggled with these. I understood what the end results should be, but I couldn't quite figure out the right execution. Oh, and I had some trouble with your solution to Step by Step and realized it was because I wasn't standing in the right place when I turned off the switches. I probably blocked a beam in the wrong place. When I followed your video exactly for where to stand when doing that, it worked a charm!
It is very interesting to see what solutions other Talos players come up with! I’m surprised to see how many solutions there are to hysteresis especially, with some even not requiring us to run, but those feel a little bit like cheeses. There is also an intended solution here: th-cam.com/video/Mgz8qOzCnPY/w-d-xo.html , but I ended up placing each connector at the corner of the opposite endpoint of the pillar’s track so that the lasers were temporarily cancelled out when the pillar moved to the ends. Your video is very helpful, keep up the good work!
Hope this helped you!
Tysm mate, Step by Step was driving me insane I can't believe the solution was that simple and elegant!
Thanks! It took me quite long before I got it myself!

Glad it worked out! Usually knowing what to do is harder to figure out then the execution. This puzzle is an exception for sure!
