Hi. This was really helpful, thanks a ton ?
I had a couple questions,
firstly, what evidence do I need to provide for quality improvement ? ( apart from getting the column in the CREST form signed)
Also, If I have the CREST form signed from my country of residence (not UK), how do I have ALS ready for IMT application ? (Can I instead do a similar course like the ACLS ?)
And lastly, I'd like to clarify if the CREST form has to be signed by a consultant alone ? or will a specialist do , and is there any added value if a currently-GMC registered consultant signs it ?

Hi there!! I'm also interested in internal medicine training in the UK. I have a question, after internal medicine training can we take a few months break before joining our desired speciality/fellowship (like cardiology, hematology, neurology) or is it that only British citizens can take a break of a few months after internal medicine training?

Hello.. sorry for late reply. Just saw your message.
Actually, the major hurdle in taking a break is the ILR. In terms of training, you can just keep in mind that mostly sub specialty programmes open at specific time of the year so if you miss that you probably have to wait for the entire year to apply for the next round. All the best 👍
