What year was this concert? They all have those padded shoulders in their suits which were big in the eighties. I Robot was my introduction to Alan Parsons back in '77 and it's still a musical head trip I have to take from time to time.

I remember driving from Rugby to Helston in Cornwall in my dads spare car a battered old mini clubman with brakes you had to keep pumping because they didn’t work after the gear box in my Talbot Horizon went! I played all their records on tape during the 8 hours it took me. I think this was in @ 1981? Nightmare journey with great music! ❤

Eric Wolfson died long time ago, cancer. He was the master mind of APP along with the core musicians like David Paton, Ian Bairnson, Stuart Tosh and Stuart Elliott and singers like Lenny or Gary Brooker, Chris Rainbow, John Miles. Alan Parsons was only the studio engineer !!!

I play, and I would like to say that Eric was first and foremost a musician, connoisseur of music theory, which I also know, arranger, lyricist and sound engineer. honestly speaking do you think little? Try playing and creating with a lot of different musicians, Eric was from a time when it was difficult to perform some songs because technology didn't help much in live performances and that needs to be understood, besides having a great voice!

Mr. Wolfson was a primary composer and writer for much of the material, but intended for the engineering and mixing to be the "star" of the show, hence the name Alan Parsons Project. If you break apart the production of each song, you will see the skill of Parsons behind the studio board.
Is the person on lead vocals Alan Parsons? I bought this single when it was released, but I have never seen a picture of Alan Parsons. There is a photo on the back of the 45 jacket but the person has their face buried in some dirt. Loved this song from day one.
