I started on Kawis and owned and rode other brands.But I have owned a gsxr 1000 for years.They have always been lighter then Kawis and easier to work on.Power is about the same.
Out the door, my 2021 GSXR1000R 100 Year Anniversary/MotoGP Edition was right at $20k. With the Brock's performance Titanium pipe, this bike weighs in at around 425lbs. With the MooreMafia ECU flash, this thing has too much in the lower gears to be able to roll the throttle to WOT without mouse-trapping, you can forget about whacking the throttle! It'll need a longer arm before I'll go anywhere near a drag strip! ;-) And, this motorcycle is the sexiest motorcycle, ever! IMO

I bought the very first Suzuki GSXR 1100 sold in Modesto California the day it arrived they called me I went the next day to pick it up the owner had a list of people he called in front of me none of them were ready with the cash so I drove to Modesto handed him the cash and drove it home High Street raced every Yamaha FJ 1200 the VMAX the Honda 1000 and I beat them all I only lost one race ever by about 2 ft it's radical coming off the line I start at 7,500 and Crank It Wide Open I've had some pretty wild rides but I've never lost it and I'm still working on the same bike today
Kawi is better for straight line roll racing bc of the gear set. 2019 and 2020 models. The only thing the gsxr is better in is the mid range bc of there vvt. Now mod for mod the zx10r makes more power. Been proven many times
From watching Chris Moore's videos, the Gixxer does make more midrange horse power, and the Kawi a tic more overall HP. That midrange is what got Chris Moore into the 7s against Mr Gadson...
higher peak hp #s dont mean the faster bike. also the engine needs to be able to handle the repeated abuse to be consistent. if kawi was the better bike, you would see more of them.

I am team green but I always have liked Suzuki brand as well I learned on a 2004 gsxr 600 yrs ago and even had a sv1000r. But imo I think zx10r is better for track riding do to the power band being up high and gsxr 1000 is better for streets do to power band all over rev range. I wish Suzuki would go back to the turn signals in mirrors and dual headlights just not a fan of the MV Agusta look....
Really probably 2 of the best bikes and the bike you get for the price my 2020 zx10r before it was flashed beat up my friend new r1 with all the goodies and he paid over 20,000 for that r1m and probably another 3,000 in parts and he still can't get around me
Ive owned two GSXRs in my riding career personally prefer the Kawi over the GSXR for liter bikes. Honestly prefer the CBR over the GSXR as well. Can’t comment on Yamahas because I haven’t ridden anything of theirs on road lol.
The only way to really know take 4 pros give them 2 free runs then race, swap the riders, do the same, so they can learn the bike then race, me personally I like gixxers, they fit my riding style, and I'm comfortable on it, hondas feel like the seats too low, Yamaha feels like I'm sitting above the tank, Kawasaki feel kinda fat but seat position isnt bad, gixxer just fits my body better I can hug the tank better, that's just my opinion and as we all know everyone has a opinion but as long as it on 2 wheels does it really matter what ur riding? I've dated a bigger girl before and she was alot of fun.. lol so I'd prob ride a moped lol

I love Honda’s. The reliability is there and they are great handling machines, but they are definitely not the fastest at the drag strip or on a road in Mexico.

I have owned and raced both makes. Aftermarket support is greater for the Suzuki for parts. But kawasaki makes more hp out the box so you are playing catchup from the start. All things being equal its always a rider's race.

What do you mean....not sure how old you are,but I began riding in mid 90's and early 2000's Suzuki dominated for years ...with that said kawasaki had to team up with Suzuki to share technology to bring kawasaki up to the level of Suzuki....I haven't ridden a sports bike since 2012 because I now own a road glide....hopefully that can put a little insight....

I have a 1986 gsxr1100, it’s awesome, it’s basically stock except for pipe,k&n air filters,I wouldn’t trade it for any of them.
Zx10 is a better developed sport bike but the suzuki seems to be an easier platform to adapt to drag racing
