Unico was originally built and designed back in the 70's for older house installations where standard duct work doesn't fit as most of their branch supply lines are 4" to 6" round flex. I've installed a few and repaired many. Once you get to the air handler - they are always "stuffed" away somewhere, they are easy to work on.
Man i just ran into one of these but it was old and crammed in the worst attic space. Ended up being the old mercury tstat causing the heat to shut off and on. Never have i ever seen or worked on one before but it was pretty straight forward. Good vid
Hey I think on a situation like this with the small glass fuse is to get terminal connections run two wires from them to different model fuse holder and fuse.
You don’t have to order or use those glass fuses. You can easily convert that fuse holder to accept your three amp ATC plastic fuses. It does take about 15 minutes or if it’s your first time maybe a half hour. But it’s a true service to the customer because they don’t have to buy $30 fuses, Wait a week for them, and it makes future diagnostics and repairs very easy.
I'm glad you showed the non-contact function on the meter, it seems like so many people don't know anything about it.
