Berlin Marathon Finish Line

I had been visualizing the finish of the Berlin Marathon for this entire training block. At the end of every rep of every workout, I imaged what the last 90 seconds through the Brandenburg gate would be like. And it was everything I hoped it would be. I was in pain and I was floating. It took forever and it flashed by in an instant. This was running overflow.
After I crossed the line, I saw @ted_deluxe , and when Ted put the 6 star on me, all these intense memories from all 6 races came flooding back. It was overwhelming. The people, the places, the triumphs, and the shortcomings - a running lifetime flashing before my eyes. And it was good. So good.

idk if you're listening to the song in the previous short but the song is "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional. there might be an audio overlap issue or the song isn't displaying correctly. but I said like before, the song is at the bottom of that short. hope this helps 🙂

Congrats one the finish. In case you wondered why it was so crazy crowded… apparently this year’s edition (50th anniversary) was the marathon with the most finishers ever. 54,280 according to the organizers’ website. A world record.
Amazing fact: The very last finisher was Peter Bartel (82y) who also happens to be a veteran from the very first berlin marathon from 1974.
