too bad they announced this months after The Cab. I'm sure there are others, like me, that now regret their Cab purchase, and hesitating a Spark Live purchase

      No kidding.
Their whole Chinese AI way of doing business sucks.
If my Spark Go wasn’t so good I would’ve garbaged it. They had awful support for me when I bought it.
Will I buy this new amp or the cab?
      Probably…

      @@Acncan
I think no earth shaking use for you to get LIVE but it has some really nice features.
Considering the cost of CAB you may have been better off selling or using the 40 as a practice / back up and got LIVE.
But you didn’t know and I think this was a deceptive move releasing what many of us want in a product just after CAB.
I’m not sure if the argument CAB moves more air is enough.
I have the small Spark GO with headless guitar I take apart for airline travel carry on. This trip 3 months in southern Mexico budget travel so no AC and humid. The Go is awesome, one of my best pieces of gear.
I was considering the CAB of course for when I am back in Arizona but delayed the purchase as I wanted to sort out reports of CAB noise at idle.
Is yours noisy when not playing? Between songs?
This had me looking at FRFR Headrush.
But I am now collecting too much gear.
My pedal boards are substantial so what happens there?
Digital world seems to be a different world and do I pick one or the other?
I do gig with heavy gear.
That LIVE seems like I will buy it as I do have a Bass, Baritone and do vocals and LIVE has everything I want today for small gig and band practice.
My experience with Positive Grid Spark is love : hate.
      Excellent product.
Awful latent horrible customer service with issues I had.
I felt violated with the whole Chinese AI interaction.

Meaning it would have been nice to actually hear the reverb. I got a grudge this is what I need but I'm afraid it'll feel more like 75% quality guitar amp, PA for vocals? That going separate will sound fuller.
Is it possible to record directly through the LIVE amp? And it has looper to add pedals? Not super handy to Whip out my phone before the drop ;)

Super interested in this, but I'm confused about the inputs if you are a solo acoustic player, since the description is that Channel 2 is for acoustic or vocals. Do you just use Channel 1 for the acoustic guitar (assuming you have an onboard pick-up electronics) and then Channel 2 for the vocal mic?

Thought this would be a perfect, lightweight solution for my duo band, but with only one vocal input it's a no-go. Yes, I could use a small mixer for our vocals going into channel 2, but not ideal. Hoping for a more expansive version in the future that has 2 vocal/2 guitar inputs (with separate effects for each guitar/vocal). Asking a lot, I know! 😅

Positive Grid - you guys are great innovators. I have a Go and absolutely love it. This is a neat product, but I feel like ya'll missed the mark with this one. Make this for solo AND DUOS - with 4 REAL channels. No one needs aux in anymore. Get rid of the mono 3/4 BS - this is 2 half channels and no one cares except for keyboardists.. Forget the Midi as well (IMHO). 2 line and 2 mic/combi inputs and I would have already pre-ordered mine. I wish you success, but I think lots of folks will try the Mackie Showbox instead, despite having less electric guitar capability. Great solo live rig though.

Nice! Too bad it’s ugly as hell - I understand that it is meant to be a PA-esque unit, but do you really have to make it look PA-ish for it to be effective? No is the answer. Can anyone tell me if it’s stereo, and whether or isn’t, what size speaker/speakers it contains? Thanks a lot!
Update: after further research, I am blown away by the speaker setup in this cabinet, and why it’s so ugly, and the answer is exclusively because of the very good reasons for it - I didn’t see a list of specs, but what I could see with my own eyes were either two 8 inch speakers, dual horns and what looks like passive radiators or just sound holes, set up to act like a mono PA cab when upright, and a true stereo cabinet when placed on its side - controlled by a G sensor, which I imagine is much like what controls your phone’s ability to switch to fullscreen mode when watching videos with the screen lengthwise. Seems highly versatile, powerful as hell, and with all of the bells and whistles to be expected from a Spark product, and even more for the new iteration. Well done, Spark.
