Great vid, you showed me how to listen to & adjust pedals. Great idea with the looper. Just wanted to let you know I got a lot more out of it than a pedal comparison. Off to play with the $40 boost pedal I got yesterday, cheers.

Hey mate, that is great to hear. And great to hear from you - a long time subscriber! I'm glad that the demo helped. Use the boost pedal to push the amp, that will sound great. All the best Simon

I ordered the Orange Burst yesterday and I gotta say, I don’t think I could have done better for under $100. I paid $30, which is an insane value.

Interesting video. To my ears, the boss adds a lot more compression than the other two. The cheap one sounds the most harmonically rich, which is most apparent on the slides and staccato chords. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on modeling amps or pedals in general. I own the Atomic Amplifire (the cheapest modeler with a high end DSP). Its great for videos but I normally use a compression and light overdrive (cheap pedal) into my Dr. Z. when I'm practicing at home. Anyway, I really enjoyed the video. Fyi, I sent you an email last week. Hit me back when you can. Be well! -Mark

It's interesting hey? It really goes to show how all the noise around boutique is really great marketing! I'm strictly guitar -> pedals -> amp. I don't have any experience with non amp tones, but they are certainly getting closer. Thee are so many videos on that on TH-cam! Oh and I really I love the caline orange burst in this video, it is terrific. Speak to you soon, cheers Simon

@@SimonMorelguitar I found a comparison between the Big range seems that the OB has a wider range in volume, but sound is the same. th-cam.com/video/pmfpZDL9gQ4/w-d-xo.html
