According to the "NAS"/text of Bahá'u'lláh, he is not the former "member"; he is the former "man" plural of arabic r.j.l Rejaal.

"Success will crown the efforts of the friends on the home front when they meditate on the teaching, pray fervently for divine confirmations for their work, study the teachings so they may carry the spirit to the seeker, and then act,-and above all persevere in action. When these steps are followed, and the teaching work carried on sacrificially and with devoted enthusiasm, the Faith will spread rapidly."

I would say thats better than being cruel of course - but the first duty Baha'u'llah says is recognition of the Manifestation of God. Please read opening page of Kitabi- Aqdas. "He doeth whatsoever He willeth and ordainith whatsooever he pleasth."

First thought: without the lessons taught throughout mankind's history by the Manifestations of God these qualities and virtues would be...unknown. We know of only a few of these Supreme Prophets, Manifestations of God who have come, hundreds of years apart, to bring the same basic teachings that include these virtues. First and foremost among them, the Golden Rule. We from Baha'u'llah's testimony that there have been wonders in every age and that the fundamental teachings, rules that exalt our material life, are taught by every Messenger. Second thought; one must make an effort to ignore, to pretend the vibrating influence of each Manifestation does not exist. Sort of pulling the wool over one's own eyes? But claiming that they (the ppl that don't believe in God) have, of their own volition, thought and earnest investigation, decided to be good, kind, intelligent and progressive...? I'm sorry, that's a cheat since we know there has been a "visit" from a Manifestation every 500 to 1,000 years and the example of their life, the effect of Their Teachings have clearly produced amazing progress and raised up civilizations that have been recorded as ...great. Drawing up a simple "Histomap," that shows the advent, the years just before a Messenger of God appears; in the case of Jesus some 2020 years ago and then filling in what we know occurred just before and in the years after that Mission would be most enlightening. Simply put, at each of those Dispensations there were startling growths in arts, sciences, society. Almost as though we'd come into a dark room...bumping shins on furniture until we found the light switch and VOILE! Oh my God, look what's happened. I grant you that not all that's "happened" has been uplifting and positive. Believers in the remnants of a previous Faith striking out at those who would destroy their beliefs and perhaps "creating" new ideas and teachings that were not part of their original Message in an effort to overwhelm the new "Gospel." But, although every heart belongs to God, and God as the All-powerful Source of all existence could compel our obedience, His Messengers are, as was Jesus, patient and loving, He could but obviously did not, compel our belief and love. But...this is not the way God has ever worked, and...it would deny His creatures of the ineffable joy of discovering the essence of Faith, the certainty of the love He says caused Him to create us and all that is. To come to know that our Creator loves us and requires...what? He requires only that we love Him in return.

@@richardbrucegraham1642 Buddhists have for two and a half millennia exhibited kindness and compassion in many ways far beyond what was displayed by God-believing/following religious people. There is no evidence whatsoever that the Buddha based his teachings on the influence of any deity, yet he and his followers emphasized and practiced care and compassion not just for humans but animals as well, and the religion spread over much of the world without crusades or holy wars or jihad. The notion that only God-believers can be good people is absurd.

So we would have no life if we just serve the cause for all these thing to grow

Not sure what you mean - The guardian says its up to each individual and family to decide how much time to devote to service and their work, family life, home, education, recreation - but he was exceedingly glad when people sacrificed.
