Meanwhile, in Korea, Cure: "Whats up boys, today we will check out this crazy Uthermal POV analysis in another episode of Terran School" Joking aside I love your videos! Keep it up :D
Really happy to hear you mention the importance of varying builds at different ranks. This applies to other games as well and it can be easy to forget that meta varies by rank. Another point is ladder versus tournament play can be very different. I think the lesson is to prepare for anything, and build more generally if you want consistency, especially on ladder.
I've got a question because i saw the lurkers on 16:20. I was wondering if adding ravens to the army composition would add some value against lurkers? My thoughts: - they provide detection so you don't run into hold position lurkers accidentaly or to deny creep - lurkers are not good against surrounds and i think dropping auto turrets behind them while engaging with bio would draw at least 1-2 lurker shots to the turrets (but i don't know which units are higher prioritized for the auto attack) Not sure if they are too expensive or just dead supply, but they can also be used to maybe prevent nydus in the main or for harass or to defend a single lurker behind your mineral line. I'm just a 3,7k terran playing maybe 10 games a week, so maybe it's not the greatest idea. Would be cool if interference matrix would work on zerg units though (i mean... zerg has also blinding clouds and abducts against terran siege units, right?).
Usually its fine to make one raven in the early game, or maybe one in the lategame but it's not a realistic transition. Having to make either a second starport fast or sacrificing your medivac production to make raven(s) is just not worth it
The Rax off to the side as a fake proxy all in…nice. Works at the higher levels but the lowly Gold, Diamond levels as scouting is 50/50, not so much. Great analysis. All hail the mighty Uwu! #terranforever
Preparing for them beforehand is the best, have a bunker and a wall to begin with! Then you can put single mines on the ramps where the runbys could come from without being seen. If you put yourself into a position where you always have to react fast or have to pull your entire army back its not gonna go well ^^
Hello Mr. Thermy, I sometimes park a siege tank in my main to defend nydus. How would a Viking defend because if Zerg gets enough vision, the Nydus drops, I don't see it and I get obliterated
I mean I ain't a pro or anything but isnt one of the advantages which is also a downside that you could fit in a bunker against some roach timings in the wall as well as protect your addon from being sniped by biles? Also if the Zerg flies across directly has to scout deeper with the overlord to see the rax which if you'd go for a marine first would give you more time to snipe it? And then a ling scout if you build the rax far enough away from the wall wouldnt be able to scout your addons as well I guess. Probably more for the scouting deny and the mind games tho I think
I guess the roach/rav allin explanation is the best but even then its not really a situation where you'd find yourself in very often, neither would it make too much of a difference I think. When it comes to the scouting I think a single marine would have a very hard time killing an overlord no matter what. The ling scout would still see everything I guess aswell with how far he builds the barracks
actually , cuz actually , actually hmm actually ?? ofc actually actually of the actually actually count: 69 , 1.533333333333333 actually per minute what the actually f

Great analysis Uthermal! Still Top 10 Terran on the planet.

12:41 shoot own tank 😅
Came to see if anyone else caught that lol.
Really enjoying your content, thanks!
Its curious for me cause im doing the same opener of cure, but i go mech: Hellion runby, double banshee harass, wm/hellion drops till i get a timing.
Master uthermal, how do you stop ling bane runbys?

Yeah, in a sense, 5 marines or so patrolling (if we don't f2) can save us as well

Really Nice, thanks for the videos i love you
Uthermals love for cure is romantic
Nice build. But i wonder, what if zerg start with 4 roach or roach/ravager pressure ? No scout is risky !
What a god
uThermal, why aren't YOU your favorite player?
I'm too washed up ;(
Keep it up Thermy. Best youtuber xD.
