- Update 8.40 has been out for a few days and brought small changes to some artifact sets, many bugfixes and 5 brand new champions to Raid: Shadow Legends. As with most updates, I do a breakdown of the update and include all the information you may not have been told. This month is the first month to include our new Damage Ratings on HellHades.com. Im sorry but 35 live arena wins for a chest is criminal. One of the many reasons i havent done live arena for months now. It should be 25 maximum
Completely agree, I just stopped playing Live Arena altogether. Too much of time sink just not worth the rewards.
I throw food on every now and then just because it's funny to see ppl come back with all their +3 Champs and mythicals. It's so stupid. If you're not a whale you are done in 3v3 and live arena

Thanks for the patch review! Always reminds me of the patch reviews in CCG's, which were one of my favorite type of content when I was more active in the genre.

They cycle them pretty regularly. Every 4months or so.
as long as its not ANOTHER arena focused champ, I'm fine with it. Wukong and UDK have made arena even worse than it already was.

Hey, I just reported a "bug" with the Marius missions. Turns out that when the other player leaves the battle when he realised it's going to be a loss it doesn't count as a win for the missions. Currently on 36/60. It does count as a win for all other factors (crest reward and arena points).
Grand Oak Padraig is 5 +
Clan Boss: 5
Hydra: 5
Arena Roles: 5
Hard Mode
Spider: 5
Fire Knight: 5
Dragon: 5
the only bad part about this and other buffs, is that those champs in pve are going to be a nightmare. fighting a minaya now, instead of her healing by 10k he heals 30% of the enemy wich is exponentially more since those enemies usually have hundreds of thousand hp.

The reason why it takes a minute to go in between live arena matches after losing 3 in a row I believe is because in silver and bronze, after 3 losses it finds a Plarium bot to match you against. In gold, there are no plarium bots, so instead it brings you down on matchmaking MMR ratings. That's my best guess anyways, great video!
Is there a bug with mighty ukko, stone skin and sheep? Twice I’ve gone up against a UDK or wukong in stone skin. Their first turn they try to debuff and get sheeped by Ukko who then also steals their stone skin.

does this change with how block revive interacts with polymorph also change the scenario in where if a champion that applies block revive takes down a polymorphed champion it would apply the block revive at times and just take out the champion entirely? because I think it is a bug since I have had it happen a couple of times but its not consistent
Is that Mortu doing that? I wonder if the first hit technically kills the sheep and then the second hit kills the champ.
@@willhotson8937 I have had it happen with fenax and initwe blood twin and fenax was definitely the second hit because the sheep was still at full health when he attacked

I am whole heartedly in favor of lowering the number of wins needed for live arena chests. Plarium certainly isn't going to adjust matchmaking there to make that game mode more appealing. Twice I've been stuck getting beaten two times back to back by an overpowered opponent, and Plarium will never let me have that "courtesy ".
I’d prefer they just increase the rewards tbh, would make the grind feel more worthwhile

Amius increased in speed and now blocks speed debuffs.
Why don't you want to steal "Plarium's Thunder"? They haven't allowed you into the test server so you owe them nothing. They consider HH Gaming as part of HH, however censored HH when he let you use it on his behalf... makes no sense.

What gear should I use on Queen Eva? Her a2 ignores 50% defense. Will savage stack on that?
Ofc. Savage and helmsmasher for 💯 ignore def. She hits like a train. Build her 85% crit rate too since she gains 15% from her skills

I think we are getting a new Champion on the 11. Probably a free one. Not too sure. But Plarium released a YT short on a possible Banner Lord Champ. So it is highly likely going to be about her.

It’s sad to see demonspawn is the most effected by new champions like harima and falmond. Karnage seems awesome as a free accessible mythical but if I got him and facing someone who pick both harima and falmond(don’t forget armanz) it’s an automatic loss. All those amius grinds went down the drain 😂
Please report the Mashalled A1 arena bug! Mashalled's A1 does not work properly against a UDK in Stone Skin when it's just UDK and one other enemy. IE, if it's UDK and 3 other opponents. You target one of the opponents other than UDK, and UDK blocks the first hit and the rest will actually take damage. After you kill the other two...and it's just UDK +1 opponent. UDK blocks both hits, regardless of who you target. It's silly. Test it and you will see. Cheers!
TBh, they need to rebalanced the live arena chest, the 35 wins is a lot, if they can put it to 20-15 wins would be fine too even if the chest is only available per week, I just can't bother with that 35 wins with how strong the opponents are specially the higher you fight

Burned all my shards for Gnut and didn't get him. I gemmed through the market for 1 more shard and got Othorion. Glad to hear he's looking good. Building tomorrow during cvc

Acrizias double hit aoe has 30% stronger multiplier than Wallmaster. Seems excessively low. Also, Marius has a 3 hit, not 2 hit.
Wallmaster isn’t near the best non-void Hydra champ. Trunda double Yumeko will be doing 25x his damage.
And how many people have a double yumeko trunda? Not that many. If you are looking traditional team, yeah he’s much better than you are letting on. Just because some people are able to do massive damage by abusing something in game doesn’t make them better
@@dustyatteberry8891 Obviously he’s better than most champs in a traditional team, but Trunda outdamages him by so extremely much. Not even a competition for the best non void, when every single one of best teams in the world uses a Trunda, which also gets used by every player who has her for amazing results.
Thats such an extreme case i excluded it from the scenario :)
@@SSuser-go7jm you have to have a very specific group of champs to make that team work. And that’s my point. We aren’t looking at the 1-4% of players who can form those teams. Look at the 96-99% who don’t and see what they are using for his specific role. Much different if you take a look with those lenses. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. You can compare, but it doesn’t do any good as they do a much different role
Have we begun to lose sight of (complaining about) all the "item replacements" that have occurred in tournaments /events i wonder... ie, these soul prisms sound fun... sure... but what do they replace in the ladder? A year ago you and HH went on about "place BOTH rewards in the slot, dont REPLACE the lego book with a soulstone! (example). Now it seems like we're just used to it /done complaining lol.
