  • This video talks in detail about knowing more about our soils and identifying their texture. It will help identify locally available biomass materials required to bring life back into the soil. We utilised readily available biomass materials in the village of Punjab, where we shot this video. Depending on climatic conditions, each region will have its own soil enrichment materials.

    Mr Shubhendu Sharma,
I am a 25 year old living on the Meditteranean island of Cyprus.
Miyawaki method is indees one of the finest, if not the finest forest creation methods in existance. It is simply natural.
I discovered you a few years back, and now, being a folklore writer, I am excited to use this method one day for a large scale forest creation at a plot of land, with clocal plants and trees that i have researched heavily due to my occupation.
At the moment (past two years) I am experimenting at my home garden, which is a relatively big plot of land, just so I can see which variable of the Miyawaki method works best for Cyprus.
But just so you know, your effort is virtuous, noble, and one of a kind. And it helps people like me who would never have thought of the possibility of nature to comeback after 2 or 3 years of planting.
Thank you for the videos, the information, and the effort!
Together we make the world better.
    All the best!

A very informative and clearly presented video on soil types and preparation of soil. Thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching this. Thank you for taking the time to give in-depth information which clearly is vital to the generation of a forest.

Very precised . Impressive Video and narration . Would like to suggest that, along biomass , also add different dry fallen leaves .which will add diversity into the soil . Gradually turn into great humus . I do practice at least 25% dry leaves locally available on site or nearby , specially during fall season . Tons of thx for your efforts .
