This is a great reaction. Very earnest and engaged. It's very novel to see the reaction to Kong from a Chinese perspective. Impressed that you took the time to add subs, too. Hope you continue. The show's a masterpiece, in my opinion. I think it's more about exploring different themes in a more realistic and philosophical way compared to Haikyuu. As an English speaker, it's too bad the show's subs can't be in both chinese and english at the same time, but luckily I remember it pretty well.
Really like the discussion at the end. You two picked up on a lot of the symbolism in the crosscut scenes very quickly. Awesome video! "China has many people who train in pong pong like this" is a huge understatement. The top Chinese players in mens and womens dominate, winning all 5 possible gold medals and a silver in one all Chinese final. Just looked at the rankings and China has 4 out of the top 6 in mens, 5 out of 6 inwomens (including 1-4!), and the doubles rankings are just as crazy. You don't find domination to that level on the global stage often. edit- I love this show. It gets so good, and tells such a deep and layered story in only 11 episodes.

不说剧情，这部画风清奇甚至可以说简陋，但作画质量其实相当高，抛开原作和汤浅的名头还是挺反市场的，能有如此高的制作水平只能说日本动画产业确实厉害。同时也正因为如此这部作品非常适合体现动画的有趣之处，抛开美型人物，抛开精细背景，用赤裸的方式展现一部优秀的动画到底依靠什么。另外姐弟俩真像啊，要不是年龄差还以为龙凤胎
