Honestly, I cannot feel/see chemistry between Dalmi & Dosan, but there is a very strong chemistry and deep connection between Jipyeong & Dalmi.. It hurts that they won't end up together.....grrrrrrrr

2nd lead hurts too much. I though Ill be rooting for NJH and Suzy but ended up feeling nothing between them. The attraction Suzy and KSH have is so amazing. Even the simple glances gets me. It feel so wrong that this has happened to them. I feel so bad for HanJipyeong. He’s a good man, looking out for everyone even if it cause him his happiness. This song is them. I had thought start up was going to be one of the best dramas of 2020 but nope they ruined it . According to me Jipyeong is the main lead , he brought everyone together . He brought dalmi and do san together , helped Sam san tech be successful and did what not to help them and also endured getting punched . That is male lead right there if you ask me.
We did cry for him, because he’s a crucial character and was definitely a large factor of Dal Mi’s fond memories but that doesn’t mean he’s automatically lesser because she didn’t choose him. I personally liked the ending because she spent the most technically romantic time with Do San and more friendly/mentor moments with Ji Pyeong. At least that’s how I perceived my it😅

I also want to add that even though it was HJP that asked NDS to fill in the role in the letters, NDS shouldn’t have acted as unappreciative as his character is. NDS have been possessive of Dalmi. He blocks Dalmi’s view of HJP, he cuts of HJP when he was abt to confess. He never relays to Dalmi what HJP said. He never gave the ponytail to Dalmi. All because he is hurting. What I love the most about HJP is that he was never selfish. He gave up everything that makes him happy to have others have that smile. He told Dalmi that at some point Dosan was real to her. He told Dalmi about his feelings and never did he pushed her to give anything back in return. That is LOVE. That is what love is supposed to be. Giving, even if there aint a guarantee that it will be reciprocated. Your character has much more back story than the lead characters combined. Im not sure why the writers built your story like a main lead. You have, honestly, less screen time, but you are the story that brought life to this drama. KimSeonHo, you may not be the end game here. But let me tell you, you are going to be a SUPERSTAR after this. You have millions of new fans who will be rooting for you. And yes, you are doing awesome! You are doing great! You are loved! And you’ll be supported, all the way!
Finally someone said it. Nam Dosan has been selfish all this time. But Ji Pyeong on the other hand, he even told Dalmi that Dosan's feelings were true regardless of his lies. I still want them to end up together. 🥺
Ohmygod this is the comment we have been looking for! Exactly Han Ji Pyeong is selfless and yes if he didn't exist Start Up is nothing. Remove Dosan and the story can still continue. The amount of backstory Ji Pyeong can given us, its a shame if he doesn't get a good ending.

Who watched ep 11? I cried so hard even though it's not a sad episode. I can accept the fact that JiDal is not endgame but the mistreatment and ungratefulness towards Jipyeong's character really breaks my heart. In the next, he's not just beaten emotionally but also physically. The pain.

I'm not hopeful that they will be together in the end, but at least they all deserve to be happy, including Do San. honestly, Do San right now is too immature and impulsive and still needs to grow up a bit to be mature, but he has a good heart also.

This is like titanic like all of us know it is going to drown no way it would sail and all of us are going down with this ship but the catch is it would be remembered forever i would always cherish his character anyday it should be him with that i am done with the drama i really dont want to cry and feel sad when i know the ending , weird how everything in this drama is predictable p.s my favourite scene is dalmi knowing truth when he was reading the letter and it said " i should find " and she actually found him with the cheery bloosms and the visuals of suzy and seohno the entire production of that scene literally was like 2 lovers meeting each other again , i really am sad and dissapointed

I think Han Jipyeong's character has affected a lot of fans becos he will always be one of the biggest "WHAT IFs" twists in kdrama, what if he had confessed first?what if dalmi met him first in that party? ----always her sandbox,ready to save her but she will always choose to go back to her swing never staying on that sand.Sadly, Dosan is her swing.
