      Yeah I don't know I can only imagine they punished lacondeguy for slipping in the end?? That's the only way that score makes any sense. Sorge got robbed too in my opinion. He had 2 of the biggest airs of the day and made it to the bottom faster than pretty much anyone else.

      Rampage scoring is always so weird. Like with slopestyle you can predict the scores pretty accurately but with rampage you never know what the judges will give it. There definitely seems to be some bias from the judges. Obviously the judges are ex rampage riders themselves and have actually hiked the hills so they must know more but sometimes I'm scratching my head.

    Should definitely change the judging. Why not try to implement a rider ranking system made by the riders themselves? The judging has been questionable more than once. The riders camaraderie and team spirit in the other hand has always been on top. For them to create their own ranking would push even further this great synergy and thus the rampage's spirit overall I feel. What do you think?

    As previous people have commented I think the judging for this competition is really questionable, I think making it a 2 day event like others have said would be better and also have the riders do 2 separate lines would also be interesting, Hardline is a far better competition to watch as rampage has went far too much like Slopestyle and just seems its always the same faces winning or on the podium, when you have young guys like Jaxson Riddle throwing down awesome and creative tricks and been shunned because Semeniuk has done a barspin or tail whip over a fairly small drop in comparison to what others are hitting, also people like Semenuk are veterans at these types of events so that should be taking into consideration when young talent is throwing down bigger tricks or people like Fairclough rocking up and backflipping as canyons gap which is something he has never done before in his career, it just seems to be flat spins and 360 drops that this competition is about and going fast and doing massive sketchy drops like the old days are gone and in replacement we have a slopestyle track, Hardline to me is the new Rampage.

    • @IanH-yf1go
      @IanH-yf1go 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hardline is a race, and rampage used to be a fmb event. So what do you mean hardline is the new rampage, they really don’t even compare. The whole point of rampage is too do tricks on big bikes.

    • @stellasqueak
      @stellasqueak 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@IanH-yf1go as in Rampage use to be about going massive and riders pushing limits and people going off ridiculous drops to very much zero landing, these days it’s a slopestyle event and the landings are massive, I’m not taking away the fact it’s still a ridiculously hard event but nothing compared to the old days, Hardline on other hand is constantly pushing riders to the limit and it’s getting bigger and more wild ever year, Rampage is predictable and when you look at the riders like Kaos and Kade who never get a look in or even Bernard Kerr as they would rather give it to a slope style rider and think it’s exciting they are doing a bar spin over a 20 foot drop which they do all year round on slow style events and video segments they make, yet Hardline brings people from Enduro backgrounds and they are pushed out of there comfort zone

    • @paologobbo
      @paologobbo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Completely agree with you pal, Rampage has become a slopestyle, maybe for a request about "show"from TV producers. Only real riders could understand and appreciate the difficulty of doing "only" freeride on such exposed and difficult terrain. So to show off everything is smoothed out, so the drops become higher etc, but it is no longer freeride, not at all. As a "weekend warrior" still I am very fascinated by the courage and skill of these guys, but it is certainly another kind of "sport".

    Semenuk just continues to show his talents and there is more to him beyond the bike and what a human being for giving Stark a bike that allowed him to really show his talents. Pay it Forward Bro!
    Nicholi, I think he made a conscious decision that Rampage isn't for him after that knarly crash a while back. I can't confirm that, just a guess but if that is so Redbull needs to get him behind the booth at events such as this because he is a natural analyst providing a very thorough and unique insight that no one else has done before. thomas genon had to deal with pizza eating while his score was getting scored. i wonder who was riding when they were looking at the menu, prob one of those stellar underscored runs. FIRE THE JUDGES!!!!!!!!!

    ขับให้ปลอดภัยกลับมาในสนามนี้โดดเนินได้นิดหน่อย ใช้เบรคหลังล้อฟรีได้คล่องแคล่ว เข็นหรือจูงขึ้นไปที่จุดปล่อยตัว เข้าใจว่าไง?

    That's a daring woman she's got some nerve alright. A lot of young Men wouldn't take that dive, including Me, so where is her clearly well deserved red bull recognition.

    They should all have to do the same lines! At least 2 or 3 lines with a total score.

    It would be interesting if you let us know the parameters of that judging, because some scores make no sense if compared to each other.

    These dudes are great, but overall I am a little underwhelmed with this years event. Not getting the balls to the wall second run sucks, but I understand the risk as well. I am also on the judges sucked train. Oh well still not a terrible watch.

    The judges screwed over brandon semenuk, no one else started with an acid drop from the top, guess there tired of seeing him win over and over again.
