Go back and watch that play. I would have probably considered benching him right there. That’s someone who doesn’t give you a chance to even be competitive.

If Dabes hides the limitations of Jones in order to try an win a couple games then he’ll be stuck with him for years and fired with him.
If he calls it vanilla and forces Jones to perform and prove he’s capable then you change the approach because he’s passed. Coach did it during the “good year” but unfortunately only 2 wins the second half didn’t make it clear to the owner, some media and fans.

I am an objective, unbiased Giants fan, and I say Daniel Jones will break out and prove his doubters wrong. His raw talent is clear to unbiased fans like me. When I knew him at Duke, where we were roommates and best friends, he was a standup guy with guts and determination. He also lent me a ton of money and never asked me to repay him because he's such a good guy. So take it from an objective fan like me. The Giants just need to give him time - plenty of time - and he will pull it together and take the team to the promised land.

I lived through Norm Snead, Jerry Goldstyn, Joe Piscarik, Scott Brunner, Dave Brown, Kent Graham and Danny Kannell- Daniel Jones is among the worst QBs in Giant history. There is no hope. Not sure what people expect Daboll to do. You have a horrible QB. That means your team goes three and out often and your defense is sucking wind the entire game.
