I love everything in this boss. It's so oppressive, the name, the size, the style, the phrases, it's very well made, it's great. It should be more difficult to defeat it.

Anybody complaining a single man was able to take down the super machine that brought England to its knees, remember that a single man in power armor destroyed most of the Covenant, and a scientist with no weapons training fended off two different alien invasion with a crowbar and regular bullets.
@@lucaguida4286 Black Mesa scientists were only trained and equipped to traverse through hazardous environments. They weren’t trained, neither expecting to be fighting aliens from another dimension. Either that, or Black Mesa DID know about hostile aliens, but didn’t bother to warn new scientists. Either way the only staff in Black Mesa that has any training with firearms are the security guards who don’t go anywhere near all that.

Gordon was a scientist that was transfered to another Sector to help tests with a new alien rock that was misteriously delivered to the test chamber. It was his first time in that sector and he had no idea what the hell they were doing in that side of the facility. He literally wears the H.E.V suit for the first time of his life when he gets there, and he had ZERO training for that type of experiment and didn't know how to use guns at all, all they told him was to "Get your suit and go down to the test chamber to assist the testing, we'll say what you have to do once you go there", and then the rest we already know.
Just played this level a few minutes ago, when I first saw it I thought: "Ok, come on, you've killed a lot of Giant Robots in a lot of other games like Metal Gear Solid etc. already so..." *Things blasts off his Laser and melts the whole underground tunnel* ".......ok this time could be a bit more difficult....."
I really liked this boss, it was kind of annoying, but it also was kind of fun once i figured it out. I felt the sense of size on the robot, like the enemies were really trying to give me everything they could. Unlike the last boss, which was just one dude in a mech suit that was about a tenth of the size of this, and looked alot less powerful
Maxjk0 I just fought it. I didn't hate it, but found it was very easy (specially if you have the scope for the Laser). I like how boss fights in this game actually take strategy and make you think. Where as other games have repetitive fights and/or quick time events.
That last boss fight was really annoying. I though there was gonna be some kind of strategy because of the pain animation he kept playing but no, just keep shooting.
Its crazy how wolfenstein had/has this "game" looking graphics. So cartoony, yet semi realistic, emersive. Nowdays devs focus on realism but the immersion is not there..
Yeah, I have that feeling with the Monster Hunter Franchise. To me it died with MH:World. I love the old graphics as you described them. Have you seen Spyro:Reignited ? It looks very awesome imo, it's clearly still a fantasy video game and has that immersive look, without trying to look like reality itself. I prefer these graphic styles. Less Polygons is more.
I also freaking love Star Fox 64 (called Lylatwars outside of Japan) on N64 Emulator in Full HD with AntiAliasing. The graphics are so simple yet such an eyecandy. Especially the warp levels with the warping sound and graphics, still mesmerizes me 15 years after playing it the first time.

Bf1 had immersible graphics. Wolfenstein NO looks like shit unless you turn brightness to max brightness and most models look ugly and unimpressed asf. The only thing this game did good was focused on a decent narrative. Everything else was mediocre.

Liberty Prime obviously... not as clumsy and can throw airplane nukes like a football. It's Mark II version eye laser is strong enough to burn very deep holes into the ground, hiding in a broken service tunnel would be pointless.
Qiuck guide: 1. hide behind the crates behind you when you enter the arena. 2. shoot his eye if he prepares. 3. shoot his rocket launchers when he opens them and attemp to fire. 4. if all 6 rocket launchers are down blind him once again and run under him and shoot into his battery.
Don't hide behind crates, use the tunnels. Listen to what you're told over the radio. Use your AR Marksman laser or Assault Rifle rockets, no other weapons.
Another fun aspect is throughout the game there are articles scattered about how UK lost because of the ominous "London Monitor", and then you actually get to fight it!!
The Nazis rule Europe in this game. They have these things monitoring the citizens of big cities to keep resistance fighters and other terrorists in a leash.
This was a suprisingly n fun boss fifth and not overtly difficult (Uber). the one thing I hated about playing on Uber was the shrapnel shotgunners, they got easier once I unlocked the marksman laser attachment. But I found them more of a pain in the ass than the 200 ft tall robot.

One of the few video game bosses where I genuinely want to surrender or hide and cower instinctively. Despite ingame me being a Demi-God that can respawn. My Heart Rate was elevated when it first appeared. Such haunting sound design.
This game didn't really have enough boss battles. Just two of them I think. The drone with human brain could be taken out with a single grenade so it doesn't count as a boss. Also the London Monitor was too easy to beat especially when you had a German dude literally telling you were to shoot.

I literally kept hiding and shooting those GD turrets on the bottom with my laser gun for the last hour! cuz that’s all it would target onto when I zoomed in, I also figured I had to use it with all the charging stations scattered around. Never in a million years would I have figured out the steps to beating this ass.

This is one of my favorite boss fights in any video game. It's just so awesome and intimidating.
Fighting London Monitor and Sahalentropus was definetly one of the scariest boss battles in recent years(Alien Isolation does not count).

You can kill him in one minute, just wait for his eye thingy, then shoot it, then run under him and shoot his balls, do it twice and he will die.

This game didn't really have enough boss battles. Just two of them I think. The drone with human brain could be taken out with a single grenade so it doesn't count as a boss. Also the London Monitor was too easy to beat especially when you had a German dude literally telling you were to shoot.

Thank You! The guy instructing you wasn’t loading on my game. I literally kept hiding and shooting those GD turrets on the bottom with my laser gun for the last hour! cuz that’s all it would target onto when I zoomed in, I also figured I had to use it with all the charging stations scattered around. Never in a million years would I have figured out the steps to beating this ass.
