Adding the "extra tag page" page unnecessary. * I was searching how to add the code to an existing page. I had already created a google ad and only needed to ad the tag code to my WP site. The google site kit plug-in was actually quite helpful and by simply following the set up of the plug-in it connected properly without the extra step of adding an in private page or manually adding code.
