I just got the game a week ago. When I first used settings, I did something that caused NO zoom when ADS. The screen FOV was exactly the same from hip to iron sights. Now, I am trying to figure out what I did. I cannot replicate that again. Did I come across a rare intermittent bug? Or, can you help me? I would set everything to default and try again, but I don't want to redo everything, like custom colors, which for me was a pain, because I set the different colors the same across all menus. :-) EDIT I got BF1 right before BF5. Maybe I am getting them mixed up. I am currently playing BF5. When I get to a checkpoint I will load BF1 and check it out.

I have come to the conclusion I had a temp bug. There is no other explanation. I have tried everything possible to replicate it. Recently, I decided I would rather have more horizontal situational awareness (because of NO zoom) versus that little bit of zoom, while ADS with the iron sight. I wish I would have kept it. :-) Later! EDIT BTW, one reason I wanted to do that is I realized I was a pretty darn good shooter. :-) And, I had my FOV only at 85. Since I now can not replicate that and have the ADS zoom, I changed my FOV to 95.
I understand your Style Choice regarding the Kukri. But i would recommend the machete, pickaxe or the airdrop axe because with those you can destroy barricaded windows, and the wooden fences on twisted steel around Point C for example, which is sometimes pretty useful...(Sorry not sure if those are the correct terms im not a native)
I've been trying to find info on melee weapon damage stats and their reach. Still haven't found a single video or source of truth on it. Seems like something that should be available
@@Oz1111 there are 3 main melee classes Pointed (light) (3-4 hits to kill) Dull (medium) (2-3 hits to kill) Sharp (heavy) (2 hits to kill) In a nutshell: Knife's = Light Bat's = Medium Axe's (and kurki) = Heavy Each class has a different "rate of fire" with Light being the fastest to swing and Heavy the slowest Overall the best whould be the Heavy's hence you can take half the hp of an enemy and finish him off with it + they can also break barricaded windows (exepct kurki) Tho the Medium class has the best kill animations imo ;) Hope this helps!

How about the take downs and distances, it seems each class has a different distance to initiate the take down which is what I find confusing. If I get that close to the enemy, i would think that it would start the automatic takedown vs. count each hit with different hp value.
@@Oz1111 basically the 180° angle in the front of the player will require you to swing multiple times While the back 180° will allow you to instantly kill him (no matter the weapon) (And note the game is buggy so thats why it might register each hit manually instead of initiating the animation sometimes)

the sheer honesty this man puts into the ratings of weapons is amazing good shit Edit: just a tip for the grease gun, put everything into hipfire and it is quite literally unbeatable, the hipfire does NOT miss and i often find myself supressing and nearly killing snipers from 100+ meters by just aiming at their glare
The only thing I would disagree with is the Karabin. For close to mid range the Gewehr also feels nicer to me but for longer ranges (50m+) the Karabin is stronger imo. Mainly due to the lower kick you can shoot faster while being more accurate.
Zk with all right specs is my bread n butter. I almost always play alone. So I need the extra rounds to get 2-4 kills per mag. The left side I find myself dying so much more often due to that 3rd,4rth,5th guy coming at me. Not even mentioning the inaccuracy of the 30 rounds.
@@EndersFPS if you think about it, given that not all guns have lightened stock option , using guns with different movement speed could effect muscle memory. I personally know many comp players who use the recoil over the stock because the ttk is too fast at the highest level for extra movement speed to matter that much. But I personally use lightened stock on everything I can, I did notice better long range performance on sturmgewehr 1-5 when I use the recoil instead.

All of my sniper rifles are level 4 or up. Many people recommend Kar, Krag, Lee, M95, but I personally prefer Type 99 Arisaka. I can get the most kill and headshot with this rifle. I just donno the reason why.. maybe because I'm Japanese?
I prefer MP28 because it has little recoil but it's still not too slow. ZK has too random recoil for me. For longer distances MP34 with fast bullets because it's laser-accurate with 0 recoil.
Honestly it doesn’t matter what gun you run, the only thing consistent in this game, is the fact that nothings consistent. Just play whatever cool gun you wanna play with. Sure medic spam might be super op, and support doesn’t really have any incentives but the point is this game isn’t about being good, it’s about testing how long till you rip your hair out and throw your PlayStation out the window because the game is trash XD
I like STG-44 more than Sturmgewehr. My K/D, Score/min, Kills/min and Accuracy are higher with STG-44. I just can't control that Sturmgewehr's recoil properly.

@@EndersFPS According to wikipedia anyway it was Semi-Automatic (and called the Volksturmgewehr). So I just tend to not use it. I still use it sometimes though, because I try to use pretty much every weapon a little bit just to try them out. But in general I don't use it just because of that detail lol
Who else feels like we lose sector games because the tanks always are too strong. We will be like winning and then suddenly tanks and now we lose. We never get any stationary anti tank weapons, the weapons we do have are trash and they get way to many tanks to even remotely be effective to get rid of
@@justjuan177 I actually figured out that a lunge mine and anti tank bundle gernade and a single panzerfaust is all that’s needed to kill a tank. It’s insanely fast, and is incredibly reliable.

I don't typically do this, but you're just very ignorant and dismissive so I need to correct you on a plethora of things to inform you. #1. There are 2 different types of ZK recoil values. The base SLOW ROF ZK recoil values, and the entirely different HIGH ROF recoil values. The low ROF ZK recoil values are SUBSTANTIALLY lower than the high ROF recoil values. It literally becomes an entirely different weapon with 2 different use cases, effective ranges, recoil values, and TTK based on what you choose for it's specs. I'm talking about the HIGH ROF ZK when I state that. #2. Controller recoil is lower than PC. This is fact. Check for yourself on SYM.GG, this has been tested and proven since release. #3. I've played this game more than you at a consistently higher level than you for literal years. #4. BFV's recoil is random, and literally designed to be uncontrollable, so you literally never know what you're going to get when you a shoot a weapon. Again, check SYM.GG, it's called spread to recoil conversion. #5. Yes, my stats are for real, and I achieved them playing solo without a pocket medic. #6. "The ZK has almost no recoil at all to control" This is factually false. The ZK actually has some of the highest HREC values in the entire game for an SMG + random recoil. On controller, it is far easier to control because of lower recoil + slowdown aim assist also helping with recoil control. #7. You're shit.
You basicially skipped over 80% of the guns I use so that's a good and a bad thing at the same time :D It means they are not shit tier but not god tier either and that's fine for me I play for fun I mostly use the Ribeyrolles for assault, Welgun for medic, Lewis gun for support and either the Lee or the ZH for sniper
Zk-383 is uncontrolable with fast firerate. I'd say it's decent with slower firerate, slightly better than the mp34 with same firerate but bigger magazine and bipod. But for me both guns suck
@@EndersFPS I wasn't expecting you to respond thank you for that. Let's be honest 450 rpm with a 2 shot headshot and faster velocity than all the other semi autos is pretty nutty. And if I'm not mistaken it also has the lowest amount of recoil which makes picking enemies off headglitches effortless.
Not trying to be that guy but how can one possibly skip over the jungle carbine or any of the carbines offered to the medic class coarse jungle being the best it's slightly has a little bit less damage than sniper rifles it's a two-shot kill within 100 m and I have cut just slightly over 100 meters and have still managed to get straight up headshots not just kills or assist kills straight up headshots the gun has excellent aim and bullet drop excellent for anti-snipers is really annoying super reflexive fuck your game up snipers we all know who I'm talking about but yes some awesome SMGs the fg42 for the support class is pretty awesome especially in single fire you can actually pick off some longer range shots tapping the trigger every half second so you don't get a ton of muzzle climb because in full auto it just is almost uncontrollable the horizontal climb is insane even with the perks added on, and unfortunately not every gun is laser accurate like Call of duty, for sniping a person I like the and feels it just seems to have the best balance for recoil and accuracy well maybe lacking and damage and both velocity definitely hit way more on Target that and there I say pull off some decent quickscoping or how quickscoping is in battlefield definitely not cod style which is just basically lack skill and care and anyone says that does not take skill to practice that for all 2 hours you essentially mastered it

How can the bar and fg 42 be good lmgs when they have 20 round mags? It's just defeats the point of using an lmg imo.. when uve been using the trench carbine with a 45 round mag switching too a massive machine gun with 20 rounds feels nonsensical.
They're some of the best mid-range weapons in the game. I have a 3.4 KPM with the BAR even though it only has 20 in the mag. The fire rate + accuracy is extremely deadly.

Yes but some people Like weapons with a firerate- some people with a Lower fire rate. Some people Like long range- some shortrange weapons. Also you didnt rank all weapons on theire Stats. For example the stg44 and the sturmgewehr 1-5. They have almost the same Status but you tanked the sturmgewehr better nevertheless.

Breda is good if you're good, lmao. It's the most difficult assault weapon to use effectively.
STG WAS overpowered as shit in Alpha, people have stuck with that bias for a long time since.

Would you say to avoid the ag m42 for assault? I’ve used it before with ok results but it wasn’t mentioned in the video.
Its an ok weapon. It’s very accurate and can 2 shot in the head, but it has awkward use cases
Why would you use any other bolt action when you have the arisaka. As much as I like the kar, the arisoka is statically better.
Eh, the bolt actions are all more or less the same. Doesn't really matter in my book

It means they are not shit tier but not god tier either and that's fine for me I play for fun
I mostly use the Ribeyrolles for assault, Welgun for medic, Lewis gun for support and either the Lee or the ZH for sniper
Zk-383 is uncontrolable with fast firerate. I'd say it's decent with slower firerate, slightly better than the mp34 with same firerate but bigger magazine and bipod. But for me both guns suck
except mp34 has bayonet, its more fun and kinda reliable in cqc.

@@EndersFPS I wasn't expecting you to respond thank you for that. Let's be honest 450 rpm with a 2 shot headshot and faster velocity than all the other semi autos is pretty nutty. And if I'm not mistaken it also has the lowest amount of recoil which makes picking enemies off headglitches effortless.

Not trying to be that guy but how can one possibly skip over the jungle carbine or any of the carbines offered to the medic class coarse jungle being the best it's slightly has a little bit less damage than sniper rifles it's a two-shot kill within 100 m and I have cut just slightly over 100 meters and have still managed to get straight up headshots not just kills or assist kills straight up headshots the gun has excellent aim and bullet drop excellent for anti-snipers is really annoying super reflexive fuck your game up snipers we all know who I'm talking about but yes some awesome SMGs the fg42 for the support class is pretty awesome especially in single fire you can actually pick off some longer range shots tapping the trigger every half second so you don't get a ton of muzzle climb because in full auto it just is almost uncontrollable the horizontal climb is insane even with the perks added on, and unfortunately not every gun is laser accurate like Call of duty, for sniping a person I like the and feels it just seems to have the best balance for recoil and accuracy well maybe lacking and damage and both velocity definitely hit way more on Target that and there I say pull off some decent quickscoping or how quickscoping is in battlefield definitely not cod style which is just basically lack skill and care and anyone says that does not take skill to practice that for all 2 hours you essentially mastered it

lmaooo, yeah the karabin isn't good. I really dont know why people say it's so good. It's easily out-performed by many other SAR's in the assault class

How can the bar and fg 42 be good lmgs when they have 20 round mags? It's just defeats the point of using an lmg imo.. when uve been using the trench carbine with a 45 round mag switching too a massive machine gun with 20 rounds feels nonsensical.
They're some of the best mid-range weapons in the game. I have a 3.4 KPM with the BAR even though it only has 20 in the mag. The fire rate + accuracy is extremely deadly.

Yes but some people Like weapons with a firerate- some people with a Lower fire rate. Some people Like long range- some shortrange weapons. Also you didnt rank all weapons on theire Stats. For example the stg44 and the sturmgewehr 1-5. They have almost the same Status but you tanked the sturmgewehr better nevertheless.

I love your enthusiasm and your skill in this game is unreal, but despite me being a BF fanboy, even I have to admit that you are flogging a dead horse. BFV is unplayable due to not being able to find one EU server without hackers. Worst BF game in a decade. BF6 can't come quicker for me.
