Perfect timing just got mine today in the mail. Great explanation on the wiring I've watched a bunch of videos and I was kind of getting it but yours just made it super simple and in less time than any other video
So you interrupted the Positive Wire to the OEM horns (from steering wheel) and ran the steering wheel wire to 30 and the Positive Wire from the OEM horns to 87A, 85 is your Ground, 86 was your Aux Switch to activate the Relay (so your steering can blast the train horns), and 87 routes back to the train horn solenoid? If so... what was your aux switch wiring set up? does the aux wire need to be energized (LIVE)? sorry i'm learning relays.
I was debating running a ball valve to run the horns but after watching this, I'm gonna run a solenoid and wire it into the horn. Nice set up and thanks for the diagram. Badass🤟🤟
Hey Eddie, Great Videos! Chris truck is bad ass shop on wheels. With all the new set up and wires if you had to replace the OE battery in the RAM what would you go with? Asking because my battery in my Chevy S10 is on it's way out and its an old school red top 12 years+ but I hear that they are not good batteries anymore since moving manufacturing out of states 😯 also congrats on the upcoming baby they are life changing 👶
Where did you get the city horn relay wire from? I've got the hot wire to the horn. But not sure where you got the one from the city horn switch to the relay?
Hey Eddie im thinking about buying my friends 2012 Ram dually mega cab. It’s the version before the def. I think you worked on one. What are your thoughts?
Hey Eddie! Great instagram posts and youtube videos! Your truck is awesome! I Murrieta, CA area here. I used to have a 2013 Chevy Silverado, but was killing me on gas. I now have a 2017 Chevy Cruze LT TurboDiesel and looking to purchase the "CONDUCTOR'S SPECIAL 244 NIGHTMARE EDITION TRAIN HORN KIT" from Hornblasters. From what I can tell, it looks you're from the SoCal area and was wondering what you would charge to help install the kit on my vehicle. Hit up a few shops that hornblasters referred me to, but they're not responding back...
Last time I blow my train horn at group of ppl couple for fun days later someone recognized my truck at a parking lot and keyed my door. Haters!! So be be careful
Horns On Vehicles are so pathetic they literally put quiet horns on smaller vehicles when I think they should all be the same or even louder for smaller vehicles since they’re harder to see.
You realize that since you guys didn’t cut all the hoses to the same exact length of the longest one, you will not have all of your horns start blowing at the same time? Rookie Mistake, easy to fix.
That’s what everyone says so I tell them ok then get under the truck and when I Hit the horn I want you to tell me which one is going off first, bottom line is yes you can’t cut them different sizes to a certain extent they are so loud that you cannot tell
Eddie's Life I agree maybe at those levels and such small variances can’t be immediately heard however your sound is blurred kind of like fast arpeggio vs a straight chord hitting together. Anyways, it’s a minimal thing and you guys could have avoided that by measuring the longest length you needed and then cut all other hoses to that same length even if you have to curl them to get them out of the way. Anyway they still sound pretty badass regardless!
Eddie Eddie Eddie!!!! It's G -I-S-T ......Oh ,and please don't start using phony thumb nails like your boy Rhino....it's as annoying as hell...it's half the reason I blocked his channel.
Guy has the whole Home Depot in his truck

A guy with GMC hoodie driving a Dodge wearing Cummins hat kinda confusing 😁
