I just installed Matt’s +60 and +120 from Optimal Welding on my Cummins and both tunes are very clean. I have the Aisin trans and so far the 60 tow tune feels better shifting wise. What tune are you using on your truck?

@@ELGamefish30 no, was HPP, then CTT. But they seem to have went down hill and don't do any delete tunes that I'm aware of. Got tuning for my 21 HO, don't know who the tuner is, but was told it's not from CTT or anyone from there. It all kept very quite these days.

Running CTT with Ezlynk and SOTF been running it for 15k miles not a single issue. Even intact tuning great power, great mileage, NO more DEF and No more EGR with intact tuning.
Put the 50inch led on the top nose cap/ roof of the toy hauler. I've been toying with the idea but haven't come up with a good way to run the wiring yet. I already have two 20inch a 30inch and two 6inch light bars mounted under my toy hauler for under lighting for backing in spots at night.

I follow you Eddie and respect your opinion on alot of things man but this is one that bit me in the butt. I had the 3 letter company and switched to optimal because of your videos and it was a mistake. Matts tunes are good but nothing is consistent. Tunes 1 2 and 3 seem to have alot more power then just the 30 60 and 90 hp it states to be. Look at your edge monitor and use the 2 air intake pids the one doesn't even work and he states its to make emissions happy which is BS. I know you don't run into this issue because your in Cali but when its cold out the truck will start and vanes immediately go to 95% and it sounds horrible for the turbo not to mention when WOT it jumps 300 to 500 rpm at shift points meaning shift flares. Needless to say i went back to the other company and within the couple weeks i was on matts tunes they have drastically improved there tunes and shifting is amazing on my aisin now.

crvic93 not sure exactly what your talking about ? No tuning company to date has tuning for the aisin transmission ? Shift flare is prominent with the 68 trans for sure (some guys hate it, some realize it’s there for a reason , transmission longevity ). Your engine tune should have ZERO to do with your Aisin transmission ? I have a 19 HO/Aisin dually and have been doing a TON of research on which way I want to go as far as delete’s and tuning. Mat seems to know what he’s doing. He’s the route I’m going to go. (It’s always a roll of the dice with new products). I’d like to know more about what made you switch back? Not trying to start a pissing match by any means.

Its all about the fueling and timing from what i understand about it. Therefore it has made the shifting feel alot smoother. Eddie has actually even noticed it with his aisin in one of his videos. If im paying $650 for a tune and i hook up a edge monitoring system to my truck i would expect all pids to work correctly but with Mats tunes they do not and he clearly stated its to make the emissions happy. To me thats BS and makes me wonder what else isn't operating correctly behind the scenes of the tune. No offense taken man. I am clear minded and willing to be corrected if someone knows something i don't. Im just simply stating my experience with the 2 different companies. By no means am i a expert at any of this.
@@MRMAYHEM-ew4qk another big concern of mine was when it was below 37 degrees fahrenheit and i started the truck it would immediately put turbo vanes at 95% and it sounded horrible until it would finally go into high idle. I asked him to change that so it would only close the vanes to 95% at high idle only and he didn't know how or just wouldn't do it. That was my last straw with him so i went back to CTT and have been very happy i did.

Eddie you should be more cautious with your shifter. On my 4th gen it completely broke off the bracket. My driveway is on a slope and on 37s. So when I back up and put it into to drive when I leave, it out extra resistance on the transmission thus my lever broke. I put in neutral, emergency brake and then park to shift out easier now
x Inline6 dude wtf is that about I was thinking it’s some sort of hill start system cause mine if I don’t do it in those steps that you do which I discoverd also helps and with mine when I put it in reverse with the parking brake off it makes a loud knock
luke R it’s just how transmissions are. Especially heavy duty ones with 37s lol if if you back up, uphil, facing downhill and go from reverse to park, think about it. You’re gonna have to put it in drive to leave. The trans will still be in the “reverse” motion. It’ll struggle to get into drive meaning tension on either the shifter, which is most of the time, or your transmission parts
luke R these trucks have big splines too. So when you park it, it’ll roll a bit depending on the slope you’re parked at. That’s why I do it in those steps to prevent damage again
With any vehicle 🚗 My driveway is flat and always use my park brake before putting in park. This is a good way to save on wear and tear on transmission.

Edge sucks..... Had nothing but problems with mine from day one..... They strung me along for two years and then said, "Can not help you because you are out of warranty"!! Now the screen touch is out of adjustment so it is unusable. Their fix is to give me 25% off a new system! Never again!

I gotta disagree with you. You are putting CTT on blast, I have there tuning on my 2019 Limited MegaCab running 38’s on 22’s with a Carli/Icon setup. CTT tunes with trans tuning using EZLYNK has run flawlessly from the jump. I won’t comment on optimal welding because I have yet to try them. I have tuned multiple trucks with CTT tunes no issues just happy people. I am new to social media, but I’m tired of people putting others on blast when it is unwarranted. CTT is proven over and over to be a solid platform. That being said I reached out to Optimal and i’ll do a true comparison on the two tuning platforms!
First of all i am not putting CTT on blast and i never said anything in my videos about CTT but if you want to bring them up yes i did have there tunes also and when tuned by them i lost all power and could barley pull my trailer on flat ground, the stock file was way better, but then i switched and used Matts tunes and they are incredible.

I was using a RaceMe tuner. I purchased EFI auto cal, 5 position switch with tunes. Couple of weeks later I upgraded the valve body then Mat was able to raise the line pressure with transmission tuning. My experience with Mat has been very good. In 2010 they had had 2 different ECM, in the beginning I was getting a CEL, Mat did his research and figured it out until my truck was perfect.

Your right the 6.7 Cummins burns so much cleaner then the 5.9 I have to stuff it to the floor from a dead stop just to get a little puff.
Everyone keeps recommending CTT tune and not Optimal. Why would they recommend CTT over optimal? This is my first diesel so I’m trying to understand. I’m down in Vacaville on orders for a few months so wanting to get my 19 2500 hooked up while I’m here.

Edge sucks..... Had nothing but problems with mine from day one..... They strung me along for two years and then said, "Can not help you because you are out of warranty"!! Now the screen touch is out of adjustment so it is unusable. Their fix is to give me 25% off a new system! Never again!

I have the company with the 3 letters now and i am not happy at all. Thank god i still have some tunes from the company before them. I have been in touch with mat and he seems to know his stuff. Now the only thing is i have the ez lynk and i am not wanting to buy another device as in wife says hell no lol. Thanks for the review on his tuning. wish others that have his tuning would chime in.

I gotta disagree with you. You are putting CTT on blast, I have there tuning on my 2019 Limited MegaCab running 38’s on 22’s with a Carli/Icon setup. CTT tunes with trans tuning using EZLYNK has run flawlessly from the jump. I won’t comment on optimal welding because I have yet to try them. I have tuned multiple trucks with CTT tunes no issues just happy people. I am new to social media, but I’m tired of people putting others on blast when it is unwarranted. CTT is proven over and over to be a solid platform. That being said I reached out to Optimal and i’ll do a true comparison on the two tuning platforms!
First of all i am not putting CTT on blast and i never said anything in my videos about CTT but if you want to bring them up yes i did have there tunes also and when tuned by them i lost all power and could barley pull my trailer on flat ground, the stock file was way better, but then i switched and used Matts tunes and they are incredible.

@@EddieLife3500 I agree I had ctt tunes and I had horrible injector rattle on wot and they had no response when I emailed them. Also very dirty on tunes 3 through 5. Just my two cents.
Hey man ever do a review on the both tunes? This is a big decision for me as my last truck had tune issues and ruined my truck.
U can't tune a 12v lol unless u talking about pump and fuel plate mods

I have a 2010 currently on h&s. What do I need to buy in order to get a tune from him?
I was using a RaceMe tuner. I purchased EFI auto cal, 5 position switch with tunes. Couple of weeks later I upgraded the valve body then Mat was able to raise the line pressure with transmission tuning. My experience with Mat has been very good. In 2010 they had had 2 different ECM, in the beginning I was getting a CEL, Mat did his research and figured it out until my truck was perfect.
