The second player is a friend. There is no computer controlled 2 player.

I guess you could use bluetooth if you wanted to try something like a PS3 controller, but I don't know much about that. If you had them, I would recommend just plugging in two PC gaming controllers, such as a wired Xbox 360 controller.
