Love this lady. Firstly, she is growing veggies at home. Had hens for eggs. Hunts for food. Biggest helping thing is she has two kids. She can spend for her family better without stretching. Her pantry has stuff that is used. Her shopping has stuff they will use
The coupon stuff is a little crazy but it’s cool she hunts her on food and grows her on vegetables and fruit

Not necessarily. Rice, pasta, flour, sugar, condiments, cans, and pressurized jars don't actually go bad until they're opened. It's a sell by date not expired. Cereal, chips, crackers, etc can go stale but are still edible.
Coming from someone who was homeless.... it won't go bad before someone eats it. And most do donate before dated

We don’t have them in Australia either which in general I think would be useful if we did as I’m in a good financial position while as sadly a lot of other people either can’t afford food or are homeless would help them out a lot

It doesn't really matter though, at the end of the day. I'm pretty sure they are gonna ring up the same amount of groceries. Why does it matter if it's only one person with a bunch of groceries vs ten people with the same amount?
Can someone explain how the coupons are able to double? Don’t most coupons say cannot be combined with any other offer?
It seems like they're targeting those specifically. Also, you can tell by whether the barcode number starts with a 5 or not.
This was back in the day when you could double. Companies started realizing that people were getting things for free doing that and stopped it.
Some stores double the value of coupons up to a certain dollar amount.
Double and combined coupons are two different things. When you take a store coupon and put it with a manufacturer coupon for 1 item that's called combined coupons. When you have a coupon for $.50 off when you get the register it doubles up to a dollar if your store do double coupons. It varies so you would have to ask the manager do they double coupon.
The coupons are double by the store. It varies tho, not every store does this. And usually store coupons can be stacked with manufactured coupons. It really all depends on the coupon policy of the specific store. For ever store it’s different.

What's wrong with Nesquick? Oh I know, you actually have to stir it into milk yourself. Oops a spoon to wash...Regular milk is way less expensive than already made chocolate milk, beside the Nesquick will sit on a shelf and not go sour like choco milk if you don't drink it...

Not anymore no where really doubles coupons anymore or price matches and your limited to a certain amount of coupons you can use per transaction
She drove 30 miles? I know the US has cheaper petrol and diesel due to....we'll call it escapades in fuel owning countries but surely she cost herself a significant amount of money on driving there and back which nulls some of the savings and going by the cereal in her stockpile, does she need that stuff she bought? I heard those cereals taste nasty.

In the UK it says on coupons, that they cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and coupon. Typical USA excess
I live in the USA, the majority of stores don’t allow these extreme coupon hauls. For the stores in my area, it is the same, can’t combine coupons with other offers or deals.

Ngl, not her fault. In Germany shopowners are allowed to refuse such amount as they could say you could only buy "haushaltsübliche Mengen" wich means ur only allowed to buy a "usual amount". But nearly no shop owner cares as if its sold out ists sold out, they dont care who buys.

I’m a couponer and frequently donate provisions the subject of coupons to charity (cupboard food/toiletries/baby items to the foodbank and pet food/treats to the rehoming shelter)

They ask neighbours and go dumpster diving for the rest ... they get them from the manufacture of the food by writing to them and telling them how they like/dislike their food

I've seen people order multiple newspapers, dumpster dive, get them from family, friends, churches and some stores have them posted as soon as you walk through the door. For most of the extreme couponers this is a full-time job and they do put in the hours to make it worthwhile.
