Thank you, Christine! I'm very pleased with how the campervan has turned out - the only difficulty really was with that tree pattern, but my "fudging" seems to have worked out okay! xx
The campervan is great, you will have to fashion a surfboard to attach for the summer months 😊. I do hope the tail will help us to decide on the animal and put us out of our suspense 🦊🐱🐿🦘xx
Thankyou Helen, another treat of a vlog. I love all your characters on the tree that you have made. Plus the campervan is lovely. Fascinating reading about foliage. Xxxx
Thank you so much, Belinda! It's my first time attempting to do a daily vlog and thoroughly enjoying it so far. I just love the interesting things that I've found in these old books and glad that you're enjoying them, too. xx
Good morning Helen , the campervan looks really good and as soon as you said a trip away im there waiting 👏. The story about the Christmas foliage was very interesting . Thankyou Helen 😊
Good morning Helen. The little camper is very cute, a perfect decoration to display in yours. Christmas foliage always looks and smells beautiful. We're out and about today, I'm on the lookout for some woodland/ toadstool wrapping paper. Xx🎄
Love the little advent penguin..the tree was a good idea😁. And a camper van for the camper van, perfect! Hmmm, my thought of a kangaroo? Not so sure now😂. It will be that forthcoming tail. Stay warm and dry.
As always, I love watching all of your videos be they about travel, craft room catch ups, or vlogmas. Your creativity inspires me! BTW, you look fabulous in red❤
I echo one of the comments below... if I lived nearer I'd ask for a piano lesson 🤣...I'm teaching myself piano after being taught electronic organ back in the '70s. My grandmother's piano is now mine and I don't want to waste the opportunity. One daughter took it up but finding teachers proved challenging. Helen, I'm hopeful it's a cute little kangaroo you're making. The campervan turned out really well. The foliage story was intriguing...holly must be so vibrant. Hopeful of coming to the UK in the not too distant future, I hope to see some holly and squirrels. Christmas bush was an Australian festive decoration but the younger generations would hear of it only from great grandmothers now. Thank you !💐💌
Thank you Helen - it's good to know that you're trying to make the most of your grandmother's piano - it's a pity that teachers are hard to come by and very sorry that I live so far away! I do hope you get to the UK to experience squirrels and holly! xx
Love that little campervan Helen, I think you'll have to do a black one! Loved the story, the 'cockney dealer' reminds me of Dell Boy selling his dodgy deals at the market in Only Fools and Horses, that was a hilarious tv series, always looked forward to the Christmas Special 😄
I think you're right - a black campervan for when we're not in the festive season! And I won't have to wrestle with the Christmas tree pattern again! I know just what you mean about the similarities of the holly salesman with Only Fools and Horses - great comedy. x
Good morning Helen darling, very different here with Christmas in Australia to what you experience over there. I love the camper van well done I’m so pleased it’s going along with you for your special trip. Another lovely chat with you really loving these Christmas ones thank you so much, darling. God bless from beautiful Ballarat lots of love to you and Phil and family. 💕🥰🎄🙏🇦🇺
Love the colours of the 9 patch crochet and the camper van is really cute, please let thectail be tomorrow and put us all out of the suspense, squirrel or fox or reindeer or rabbit.......
The van turned out great and looks awesome in your snow on the piano. Pearl will enjoy a bit of festive decor on your next trip. 🎄 The reading was very interesting. I wonder if mistletoe still comes from France🤔. See you tomorrow.
All you projects are so very nice. I’m voting for a rabbit (with short ears) for the mystery animal, and love the suggestion for a surfboard for the campervan in the summer. The noel blanket is beautiful as well! Salam wa sa’aadah
Hi helen intresting reading i could imagine back in those days everything was decorated with beautiful natural materials ❤ the mystery animal does look like a little rabbit 🙂xxx
Hi Nikki - there are so many interesting things in these old girls' annuals! And my very first thought about the crochet animal was that it was a rabbit... xxx
Biche is a doe or hind in French……so I had vaguely expected a baby deer…… but I think I was wrong! The campervan is really good, hope the weather improves for your trip!
Thanks Joy! Yes, baby deer was my first thought for this animal... hopefully we shall soon know! It will be lovely if we get a window of calm weather for our campervan trip! xx
I love the camper van. Enjoyed the reading, so relaxing. Looking forward to tomorrow. Thank you Helen ❤
Thank you Margaret - see you again tomorrow! xx
Absolutely love the finished camper van. I must buy the pattern. If I lived nearer you I would come to learn the piano . Thanks Helen 🏴

Wonderful suggestion! As someone who grew up on the beach in Southern California, surfboards on VW vans is iconic.
What a lovely idea! And yes, I'm banking on a tail to put us out of our misery! xx
Thankyou Helen, another treat of a vlog. I love all your characters on the tree that you have made. Plus the campervan is lovely. Fascinating reading about foliage. Xxxx
