@@guruprasaddarbha2005 Nobody is forcing you to buy farm land, it's for those who cannot afford expensive hmda or dtcp layouts, even after getting pattadar passbook in your name if you still think it's risky better stay away, but those who take this little gamble will benefit out of this by paying nominal conversion charges after 10yrs..KCR himself gave hint to realtors n investors that even 1 gunta agriculture land will get passbook, raithu bandhu n raithu bheema...all Telangana districts now have plenty of farm land ventures....with nominal penalty n conversion charges they will be converted to residential plots hopefully after 10yrs...no risk no gains, I would recommend HMDA/dtcp layouts to those who have apprehensions over farm lands...

But in dubious methods even a minimum one gunta(121 Suqare Yards) is also getting registered in colluded with some of the officials. Suppose if you purchase less than the stipulated land, then you will not be eligible to called as a farmland owner, on one fine morning, if the Government declares, (all the others who purchased minimum Guntas that is less than 20 Guntas) their land purchase as illegal, then what would be your situation? Better, you go for post office FD, atleast your capital would be safe. Don't fall prey to the false promises made by the farmland companies.
