This quartet has inspired me to finally get off my duff and start singing barbershop. I start next Wednesday. They are local to me, but I had to stumble across them here on TH-cam! LOL Hope to hear them perform live soon!
The girl in the green dress(Stephanie) is the bass, The girl in the blue dress(Caitlin) is the bari! Just shows how much in sync they are with each other! Thats talent!!!!
I know a few people have already answer your question, but I'm certain it's the blonde with the orange skirt. Especially at 2:23 she's singing lower than anyone else. She's also the only one who doesn't take the lead (at least as a soprano) and her lips line up with the baritone part. It's definitely the blonde.
You guys pulled off the Galileo part superbly - that's got to be SO tricky! I also love the costume designs and how you guys kept it simple with no shoes - really adds to the performance :)
The description is accurate. LoveNotes is the San Francisco Harmony Sweepstakes 1st Place regional winners 2009. They won Audience Favorite at the National competition and they took 2nd place overall at the National competition.
@IloveTinoandMJ believe the baritone is the blonde in the green dress, cause if you time the baritone notes with her mouth movements they match perfectly. this is an amazing acapella!
I love you ladies and I think I've posted on almost every video and I've subscribed. As always it was out of this world. Peace Pipers (my group) was supposed to do this song but we ran out of time so I was psyched when I saw you do it. Keep singing and posting! P.S. I love your new hair cut
Check out everything they've done. Ex. I wanted to arrange "Danny Boy" for the fun of it but after listening to them sing it - way beyond. That baritone who sings "Phantom" like you wouldn't believe - a super tenor, a fabulous lead, a solid bass. What an amazing quartet.
Bell chords are so difficult to hit properly. They did phenomenally. Anyone know where these girls are from? I heard about them on NPR hence my search for them. I grew up with barbershop and sweet adelines and there's nothing like well-done 4-part harmony.
The opera part is magnificent, even better than the original for arrangement (great counterpoint part music melody with extraordinary range) and performance! Though, I have to admit that the guitar solos don't really keep up with Brian May. Well, I cannot imagine that being possible, anyway. ;-)
kagilmore2 Thank you. I found 7 songs on the iTunes store, but I'm looking forward to getting the CD's. I think you are one of the Lovenotes? Thank you for replying. I just discovered you this week.
I really enjoyed listening to this..The beginning was Excellent...but through out the song it seemed as though you kept falling apart..at some points your harmony didn't match..But you have awesome singing abilities!!
your bass has some seerrrrriiooouuusssss power...so does the tenor...holy cow...soooo jealous!!!
The best bohemian rhapsody performance ever. The opera was the best part ever.
ahhh love the formation at the beginning! excellent

Bravo! Almost every live performance I've ever seen of this song tends to feel just so-so, but this was incredible!
WOW! My head spun around at some point - that was fantastic. Congrats on the performance!!
They just won the Sweet Adeline International Quartet Competition 11/8/2013.

OMG I loved this!
Such a hard song to do, and you totally aced it!
This is probably the best accapella cover of this song ever.
@IloveTinoandMJ believe the baritone is the blonde in the green dress, cause if you time the baritone notes with her mouth movements they match perfectly.
this is an amazing acapella!
The end solo was awesome...

Freaking speechless. Amazing.
I'm pretty sure the one in blue is the baritone :) From what I can see, it's from left to right bari, lead, bass, tenor.
As a Barbershop brat I have to say...excellent, love your work!
You should hear them now. They are amazing
These girls are from the San Jose area in California.....thanks!

::: Ovations of Applause!!! :::
The royal sax choir did an incredible version of this. That's right, Saxophone choir.
word is LoveNotes has a new CD coming out soon! Please tell me where I can get a copy! or 2!
wow!!
Any way I could get a copy of that arrangement?

The male voice is a must have, but they still did an awesome job.
QUADRUPLE AWESOME!
I would love to see a Barbershop Quintet (male or female)hum the sound of a Nathan K5LA Airchime train horn
Great note by the highest soprano at 3:08
Ive seen them sing.
2:35 amazing @@
@hermionecortez maybe @TagPop meant the guitar bit...
ummm the description is deceptive.... they did not win the contest at Nationals, they won Audience Favorite. tsk tsk
2:27 best part
fuck... yeah.
not the complete song but good none the less. very good
@IloveTinoandMJ blue dress i believe..
This is a custom arrangement that LoveNotes purchased
The opera part is magnificent, even better than the original for arrangement (great counterpoint part music melody with extraordinary range) and performance!
Though, I have to admit that the guitar solos don't really keep up with Brian May. Well, I cannot imagine that being possible, anyway. ;-)
@TagPop The girl in the blue skirt isn't singing the melody anyway ;)
I was wondering about the sheet music?? Where did you get it???
I can't tell whoch ones the baritone
America's Got Talent anyone?
That soprano :O

I'm confused by their outfits.

kagilmore2 Thank you. I found 7 songs on the iTunes store, but I'm looking forward to getting the CD's. I think you are one of the Lovenotes? Thank you for replying. I just discovered you this week.
Still a pretty good job with just four people though
If they won second....who in the heck won 1st?
missing verse
They're such excellent singers, but I don't think Bohemian Rhapsody was the right song for them. But despite, they did well.
I really enjoyed listening to this..The beginning was Excellent...but through out the song it seemed as though you kept falling apart..at some points your harmony didn't match..But you have awesome singing abilities!!
didnt like the bit before i see a little silohette
Wear shoes
Um they went off key like 50 billion times. Wtf
