I am so sorry about the accident with your new Forester. That would break my heart. I am glad you are both ok! How is the road noise? I really am serious about getting the Forester, our roads here are pretty rough.
When you mentioned the floor protectors, you said something about “double protection.” Are you using the rubber kind on top of the fabric kind? I’ve heard in multiple videos that the user’s manual says NOT to use both simultaneously because of the possibility of one lifting off from on top of the other and interfering with the gas and brake pedals. NOTE: **I’ve been watching a ton of Forester videos. I realize that maybe I heard about the “double floor matting” when some reviewers were discussing only a particular (single) trim of the Forester, though I’ve been looking at Touring reviews more than others.
Yes, there is the first layer (rubber) and the top part (carpet). The top part fits into the bottom. The bottom is secured by clips. I think the double mats are an upgrade with the Limited series. You can inquire at any Subaru dealership.😊 You can also watch this video to see it better: SHINY SHELL Car Wash Experience th-cam.com/video/r34KToGHLYs/w-d-xo.html
Great video, two thumbs for you, love you both👍👍In Europe we still have to wait for the SF2025🥺
Thank you so much for your kind words!😊
Good Luck with your new car
The only thing I don't like is the sunroof has no tilt function and it's the most used settings in a sunroof

For me it's the Forester Limited or the Rav4 hybrid. The Toyota being about $9k more expensive.
I have the Forester too and those shadows annoy me a bit 🤨
What color is the interior? Is it grey or black?
Grey
Correction: the exterior is ice silver metallic and the interior is black. Even though it looks like a dark grey.
