Evening Dave……glad to see you back on track……and fantastic results.👍🇮🇲👌. Ps if you get the braking wrong….you definitely will be giving it “Two Fingers” ….lol. 👍😜🇮🇲. PPs Lara is ace 👍👍👍
Just had a chance to watch this vlog. Great to see you back out racing. The bikes looked mint. I've only ever ridden on the road so for me it's hard to believe there's so much grip in those rain tyres. Looks like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself. Thanks for the great content.
Great video! What i do for cleaning brakes (heard you talk about the not using brake cleaner before), is give them a good clean with brake cleaner, then a little spray where the seals are with silicon spray to stop them drying out, love my silicon spray 😄👍
GOOD SHOW Wavey, Cadwell has to be our favourite, when we lived in UK, we Marshalled there and miriad other circuits, for NG, EMRA, New Era, Classic, and VMCC, out most weekends in summer, and LOVED IT! Now keep up with you and Diligaf and many others, Cheers, DINO and PANDA, from the MED!
YOU ARE VERY WELCOME, We did it because we enjoyed the racing community, we made many friends among marshals and racers, we only stopped when I had the opportunity to retire early and move to a more pleasant climate. LOVE MALTA! Cheers, DINO and PANDA.@@obsession_engineering
Well done Dave, both on the track and on the informative video. I’m all packed for Oliver’s Mount this weekend. Can’t wait to see my first ever Road racing event. One off the bucket list. TT an obvious ‘other’.
Thank you so much for uploading this. I thoroughly enjoy watching your escapades. What a great bunch of people and some great results too. Your enthusiam is so infectious I start to consider going racing myself and I'm a fat 60 year old!! Maybe I'll just make do with booking some Rapid training instead.🤔
Love the videos keep the tips on maintenance coming I’m new to track days and only done cadwell my times are coming down slowly it’s a brill track. But I don’t know anything else
Great video, thanks for all the behind the scenes content like this! One question, do the rearsets really flex/rotate as much as it appears in the onboard, or is that just an effect of the camera angle?
Bonsoir wavey, there's a Sylvain Guintoli video on his TH-cam channel about lock and loading the wrist from the braking to throttle transition which I think mentions finger/wrist combos. Might see you at gold cup, got commitments Saturday so couldn't enter😢 gobshite+cat
Great video once again. Must have been nice to be back on track and there for yhe enjoyment of it. I wonder if you have inadvertently found the root cause of arm pump 😁
Although you're probably (I'm sure actually) faster than me I definitely recommend one or two finger breaking. I do mostly brisk canyon carving and find myself keeping 1 finger on the brake lever most of the time. I feel way more confident knowing my reaction/response time is lessened before I'll be on the brakes. Especially where I typically ride as it's not uncommon to come across cows or goats standing there in your lane on a blind corner.
Mmmmm - I remember the first time I hit the brakes in anger at the end of the start/finish straight racing my 600 with Thundersport@Donington having just changed out the Bendix MCR pads for the EBC Race pads(£95 a set if I remember vs Bendix £55) and nearly threw myself out over the handle bars such was the difference in stopping force........ Felt like I had just hit a brick wall compared to the Bendix pads which were a bit less brick wall'ish............. Bendix got tossed in the bin thereafter.........
Well done Dave , always really enjoy your videos 👍👍👍👍👍
Fun to see you race in real life; exciting - especially the very last race in the rain!
awesome vid !!! living vicariously through yall between race weekends … cheers from the US

Great to see you with a smile on your face again Dave Cadwell certainly is the place for fun racing! 👍
Brilliant Dave. See you on Saturday 👍
Great video, nice to see those different camera angles.I was interesting to hear the different sounds the bike makes depending where the camera was. 😉
Excellent vlog Dave, luv yer bike racing stuff, always a good watch.
Well done there dave bloody good racing and nice to see you back on the bikes🏍🏍.

Thanks for your time in orange, we couldn't race without you

Thanks. About brakes ! i always regularly loob the 3 suspension points to be sure of good centralising of the caliper , a must to get smooth brakes.
Well done Dave 🎉
Great video, as always, Dave...Good to see you in the thick of it.
This was great! Especially the tips to avoid the ice cream man's price gouging. Shame shame! Good workaround though. Thanks!

You'll see me there!
Brilliant great racing congrats on the trophies and of course the cash😂 love Cadwell brilliant track 😊
Great work Dave
Great results Dave.

Do it, and once we've got you going faster, then go racing 😁
@@obsession_engineering Oh my... I am going to seriously consider doing just that!!
Love the videos keep the tips on maintenance coming I’m new to track days and only done cadwell my times are coming down slowly it’s a brill track. But I don’t know anything else
If you want to get faster, look at the track master course with Rapid, it's ace!!
Watch Gary Cowen on a 250 Yamaha against Ron Haslem on a 500 Suzuki at the Sunflower. Its sometimes not about the bike but about the rider
Great feature on the Kramer! Beat you in the last race tho eh Dave? 😝🏍️💨🏆
Alreet crasher 😂😁
Can you move the brake lever in closer on the bar towards the triple clamp and then you are catching the end of it more and gives more leverage.
Some extreme weather conditions there. The last time I was up at Cadwell it was baking too - and that was an evening session! Lincs does get sun!
That was del from sublime design behind you on race one of the twins.
Middle two fingers for me in road or track. I can't remember why I started that, but anything else feels weird!
Great video, thanks for all the behind the scenes content like this!
One question, do the rearsets really flex/rotate as much as it appears in the onboard, or is that just an effect of the camera angle?
Camera was on the swing arm, so it moved, but rearsets stayed static
4 finger brake gang

Great vid as usual Dave , when are you going to drag a ZXR 400 out on track ? Just like the good old BEMSEE days ?
Well....
Cool.

During my recent USA trip, I did find myself brake covering a lot!

when come the "point" that you flip the S1000rr engine to a up - to - date s1000rr engine with flexible valve time by driving not srew'ing ?
No rush, the gen4 isn't the best tool. I'd go honda if I upgraded
@@obsession_engineering thank you , i test my first honda a SH125i
Love your videos but I find some of them really sore on my eyes and they give me head aches as they seem to be recorded at 18 frames per second.
Ah, must be my export settings, I'll get them sorted
We think you need your boots re,sole-ing, well worn out..big hole where the foot peg goes.
That old pair are very comfy though!
please dont keep shutting the throttle over the mountain, you loose time and dont do stonking wheelies.
The bikes faster if it's on the floor!
Especially as I don't poo myself
As said before the minitwin was @deldowds
@obsession engineering knew I should have let you ride without a transponder... .. might have held you back a lap or two.
