I have struggled to watch others try to teach this craft. I absolutely love how you teach. You go so slow that it makes it so much easier to catch what you are doing. It also makes it easier to follow along. Thank you so much for making these videos. I look forward to more of your classes.
I really want to learn shuttle tatting (so portable!), but needle tatting like this is soooooo much easier! Very clear video, thank you for this. I'm going to make so many snowflake ornaments!
Thank you for the refresher lesson! I learned needle tatting years ago, then switched to shuttle. But now I need to wrap a wire in thread, so I figured out that needle tatting would be best.
This was such a good beginning video for the stitches. You were so good in the beginning but it was a little difficult seeing what to do when finishing. After watching several times I got it but not sure. I will look for more of your videos. Thank you.
This is the very first time my daughter and I have tried this and you did a great job of explaining it slowly. We also paused it at times. We get through all the knotting, but when it comes to tying the 2 ends together, everything just knots up and we can't get that part finished. I think she needs a bigger needle and thread to see it better. We'll probably try bigger-eyed sewing needles to get the hang of it. Try try again. Thanks.
Thank, explained very well. I so want to do this, but can't find a "rhythm"(?). Reminds me of casting on stiches in knitting, and when finished magic circle with single crochets. But I'm not giving up yet! 😊
It is a bit like casting on, but the stitches remind me of basic macrame knots. I'm intrigued by this too! Reddit has a whole page for tatting ( and every other needlecraft too) 😀
Very nicely demonstrated and explained. I like that lovely pink. Please tell me the brand and size of the thread...any link available. Thank you for sharing your work.

Thanks for watching. Sorry for the delay. You use tatting needle and bigger size thread. Hope it will be useful.
If you cannot find tatting needles, do like i did and buy "doll needles" they work just fine.
I tangled mine up also on my first try, so I tried again and made sure I only pulled on the the thread that had the needle on it. It was a success.
Wonderfully clear tutorial, I hope you make many more!!
