A weird but nice tip. I always ask our servers and our steward if they are able to get off the ship on the port day and if they need anything. After a few ports i think they figure out we want to make their lives easier like they make ours SO MUCH easier! The most common request i have gotten---- snack foods- Lay's potato chips, salty things, sweet things. Now, i actually stuff my little back pack with snack food before we embark and give it to him/ her/them the first or second day after i meet rhem. I tell them to have a party. Always huge smiles and VERY surprised. And we always hear back a second thank you. Little things make their lives better. They all miss their families and work so hard.
I think it's great that they make the offer to disembark in Le Havre. Lots to see and do from that location.
I love your tip to take a pic of the port info before disembarking the ship at a port! I had not thought to do that before. ❤
I do that when I park my car in a long-term lot. Ya never know what may be forgotten while having a great vacation!!
I remember years ago visiting the Acropolis and having dinner at a nearby restaurant. The Parthenon was visible from our table. It was at night, so it was lit up. It was beautiful and like a postcard, but we were actually living the moment. P.S. my cabin looked exactly the same except opposite setting. Same picture on the wall, which was the same on Island Princess. Funny how that works!! 😀 Thanks for your videos. 👍
I am so sad they are selling the Xpedition! We loved loved loved our cruise to the Galapagos! 45 people, no elevator, awesome food, 😅 best trip ever! So glad we went last summer! It was phenomenal. We also had a cruise tour to Machu Pichu.

Go to Greece in the fall not the summer! We had fabulous weather in October when we went, and lower crowds.
I spent a lot of time in the Piazza in the evenings in April. I really enjoyed Static. I hope they're still there for you to see. They were different and good that they came off the stage and onto the dance floor while singing. 👍 I just saw in the Patter that Static is in the Piazza at 11:15pm. They'll be scheduled earlier, too. Make sure you see their show.

A tour should never leave early unless they have the correct head count.
We too love all the activities and is why we sail princess.
Last November on the Island Princess we had a port change do to weather. As I left the horizon court I noticed the port agent listed was the one from Cypress. On the next deck it was the agent from Malta. I went backup to the horizon court to double check what I had seen. I took a photo and went to guest services to report it. They were very thankful to be told and updated the correct info. When in doubt check with guest services.

Alison, you mentioned future cruise deposit for captain's circle. So if you are not in the circle that doesn't apply? I've only been on 3 cruises.

Would Port agent information and back on board times be found on the Princess Patter each morning? I’ve seen that info on Carnival fun times pages that we get each port day. I’ve never been left behind, but we were on a cruise with lots of our family members and some of them went on a separate ship excursion. It was very late, like over an hour late. So thankful it was a ship excursion and they waited. We were a bit worried, but it worked out fine.

Allison, can you tell me why they changed it from two years on the future cruise deposit to one year future cruise deposit return?
My guess is to get people to book their cruise sooner. I just remember they made the change around a year ago.

Wow, there's no excuse for a guide to not do a headcount before leaving. Also, the guide should not have been so emphatic about not arriving early. It was compounded by actually leaving early. It's a good thing that someone spoke up. All tips should have gone to that person.
That's kind of soon to decide how you'll debark.
It happens on Transatlantics too. You hate to think the cruise is going to end. 😢
Shame on the tour guide. Princess needs to know.
