i personally didnt like how luffy acted in this episode. it felt very out of character. his display of loyalty is usually a lot higher. i looked it up and it seems most people excuse luffy's belligerency here bc he was fed alcohol on purpose and he doesn't usually prefer drinking
@@99dano I saw it as him willing to cut someone off as soon as they do something he morally believes is wrong /unforgivable rather than trying to excuse these actions because he’s friends with them.
Luffy has a thing, anyone who is kind enough to give him food he'll owe his own kindness back. It's one of his more known troupes and considerbly most dangerous one.
