Can we please please please have more interviews with Bob and Jim- I grew up idolizing these two and hearing how down to earth and humble they are is so satisfying. Still hoping to be able meet them some day :)
What I think makes this part of the interview very interesting is the fact that so much credit is given to #4 and what it did not just for the team, but the entire industry, but they also acknowledge the fact that #8 changed the industry while also being "born into controversy" as we all know. I never get tired of hearing stories from these two.
I said #4 at the exact same time they did. It’s just a fact. And imagine how often in Motorsports has a competitor been so fast that the driver could give half of the run to his opponent and still win after falling asleep! To be disqualified for being so fast that everyone else needs time to catch up to you really says how hard everyone at Bobs shop worked and looked ahead for the industry to be what it is today.
Bob Chandler and Jim Kramer this is pure greatness guys, I love hearing these old stories about Bigfoots 1-7...... I read somewhere years ago or maybe even an interview with Mr Bob and he said not much was left of Bigfoot 1 over the years because of the mud runs and what not and something to the effect of Bigfoot 1’s leftovers kinda started Bigfoot 2, after wrecking the the original Bigfoot 1 on the set of Take this job and shove it.....would love to hear more elaboration on that, thank you Bob and Jim!!!....keep it up
Grew up myself watching bigfoot, bigfoot strikes again. I'm almost 30 year old, now my 3yr old son is a huge bigfoot fan. Good to see you guy's keeping well.
I also want to say in the very least that it would be such a tremendous privilege & such a big honor to meet the both of you guys - being the drivers & creators of my personal favorite monster truck - being the original one that laid the ground-work for the whole monster truck enterprise & the concept of lifted trucks & everything.
This is great stuff guys. I've talked to both of you over the years and you are two that I really look up to. I'm going to the Grand opening of the new museum and hope you are as well.
Oh yeah there's another question I have for you Bob Chandler. Could you please make BIG FOOT 4X4's body back into a original pickup truck. Cause I think the truck looks good as a pickup truck but BIG FOOT summit looks good as a rally truck. The other's please keep them original
Hi guys. Why bigfoot not on monster jam competitions? Against gravedigger and others? I remember bigfoot and others back then . But will there be any time for a team to run in monster jam competitions?
That story goes back over 20 yrs. USHRA ( Pre Field Motorsports) decided that B F could no longer videotape at their events. As BF used these videos for safety training, R/D and promotion, they were not happy. Later on, late 90s early 2000s, USHRA/Clear Channel/Pace Motorsports wanted to buy the rights to the BF name and the whole outfit. Bob didn t want to sell out, so USHRA, etc , decided to put all their promotional power behind Grave Digger after buying the trademark and copyrights from Dennis Anderson, whom was having financial issues and facing a lawsuit following a ride truck accident in which a passenger was severely injured. Afterwards, BF , being an "Indy"no longer appeared at MJ events. A crummy state of events that continues to this day. IMHO, I feel we, the fans, got the short straw in this. I attend MJ events and non MJ events as I can, and will continue to do so as a Monster Truck Fan. Again, IMHO, MJ seems to have downplayed BFs contribution to the sport to the point that BF is almost never mentioned or even seen in USHRA clips from the 80s. That is a sore spot for me and many BF fans. Not to take anything from Dennis and G D as I m a fan of them and appreciate what they 've contributed to Monster Trucks. Sorry so long winded. Hopefully I 've gotten things right. Please correct me if I m wrong in any way. Thank you.

As a kid i had a vhs of return of the monster trucks that I watched until it wore out. Bigfoot was the coolest thing I had ever seen.
It's good to see you both doing relatively well after all these years, from what I see.

Bigfoot#4 is my favorite
TNT banning Bigfoot 8 in hindsight was a great storyline. When it returned it created great drama leading up to the finals against Equalizer.
