Wow. I cannot believe how many videos Nichol puts out. It’s phenomenal. I was thinking that the Butterfly Love Stencil is way too specific and that I would never use it enough. But then it occurred to me that I have plenty of heart& butterfly stencils, stamps, and dies so I can do something similar. I’m inspired by the idea of layering stencils and masks. I’m eager to see how it looks with different shapes. When Nichol was planning the first card design, I thought the card design was going to be too busy. But intriguingly adding the die cut butterflies brought balance to the design by making the background recede. It’s such a sophisticated look; just super inspirational.
Purple is my favorite color so I really love that card but have to say they are all beautiful! Always inspired by your videos and thank you for sharing your talents!

Your cards are always so beautiful, but these 3 cards had WOW factor for me. I've only said this to one other card designer/artist. And that is... I wish I had a friend like you that would send me a card like that. (I have friends, but none of them do card making, so I do get to be on the giving them cards end-,they do appreciate them-and I think that is even better than receiving.
I didn’t have the stencil to recreate this design, but I looked through my stuff, and found some butterflies and a heart die. I don’t think I’ve ever done this must masking on one card, but it made me feel accomplished. It’s amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it. Thank you for your wonderful inspiration. ❤️ I love your cards and videos.
