@@somepeople3355 Go fast, time is the most valuable resource. If you're dying a lot consider treating every source of damage like it's going to one-shot you. Sounds like you could also be miss-using your invincibility and dash so you don't have them when you need them. There's a lot to it, man this game demands more out of you than most.
@@StylePoints306 Also.. something important that changes how i play the game>>> Make sure your skills are hitting more then one enemy, this is like... 3 or 4 times more eficient.
yes and no. 5 modifiers makes sense for the + damage one since you only have one life anyway. The +hp one wont have fountains to add to your total vitality pool, making items like ogres blood less viable. Also, with -50 percent healing you end up inflating your hp pool so much that sources of healing don't help nearly as much as increasing your health density through armor. extra health also makes Golden coat less useful as you need to heal more to recover half of your health back.
@@gg-ie5et Style basically said most of it, philosophers stone is only worth it in very specific builds, and hungry grass isn’t as a good as it is in a normal run because you can get the retroactive damage stacks from a death in this run since I have no feathers. I have yet to watch the video so sorry if you explain it in there but I have a niche Balor's Eye question: do you need your power/special to be off cooldown to benefit from Balor's Eye? I've been checking your and StraightArrow's stuff on Melusine the last couple of days. Power Dive and Water Communion makes me ask this. In your tier list, you were saying that with Power Dive you never use power but simply trigger the effect with defense. I would think you would use power AND defense to double dip on a power build. Then I began wondering whether it's the case that if you use power so that its single Balor's Eye charge is on cooldown, a follow-up power trigger from Power Dive defense isn't empowered from Balor's. Is this the case? Or is it simply that with power charges and defense cooldown, you wouldn't need to use power and open yourself to attacks and such? I so want to try that broken Waterlogging-Razor Tail build btw. Especially curious what happens if you end up having 2 charges of special to spam one after another, multiple defense charges to spam multiple Razor Tails before re-entering Sing Stance but also Water Communion to get both special stacks back right away 😆
@@kedicankalecki2393 Balor’s Eye use to work where you’d keep all your charges and it would consume all of them when you used an ability. So if you had 8 power charges on melusine and used your power, you’d have to wait for you power to cooldown 8 times to get your max damage back which would take forever. Because of that, you’d pair it with power dive and never use your power so that you were always getting max damage (damage would be based off of how many charges you had on cooldown). They changed it so balor’s eye only requires your ability to cooldown once, so you’re a lot more free to use your abilities whenever now. Hope this helps clear the confusion there!
@@positive4ce So with something like Injection I should NOT use power right before using special? Even though it is only one stack cd after the change to Balor's Eye, from what you say, Injection wouldn't benefit from Balor's Eye if that one stack of power itself is on cooldown. Right? That was my question. The old system you describe must have sucked extra, though 😅
@ Yeah I believe it still works like that now, you can use your power still, maybe just save it to clear out the rest of a camp so you can have it cooldown on the way to the next

In your opinion does leprechaun coin need a nerf or do most other magical objects need a buff? In my opinion I think leprechaun coin’s super effect needs to be nerfed. Instead of getting your first reroll free, it would be more balanced if you got 3 rerolls per map. 🤷♂️
