I know this is a dumb question but I have a2013 ford focus and need to replace the same part but it has what looks like heat shrunk hard tube to connect together, not a nice quick release. How do I go about reattaching the vapor hoses if they are like that? Can I pull it off then jam it back on because I only see people selling the actual solenoid and not a set with the hoses. It’s a BV61-9G866-AA for reference. I just can’t find anyone else replacing just the solenoid body like you are doing here, but I suspect it’s because that has those nice quick fittings.
So I have a 2012 Arcadia, no check engine light the only symptom I have with the vehicle when I first turn it on in the morning there’s a rough idle that will last about two minutes and then the car was moved back out
Dum question. I bought a used 2014 arcadia for my daughter. And after I purchased it. The next day we put gas in it and doesnt like to start right away could this be the issue. I replaced alternator, battery, and starter, my wife says I wasted all that money and say this is the issue..is she right?
Yeah this is likely the issue. If you don't have a scanner go to local autozone or other car part store and they'll usually have one for customer use. plug it in and see what your car says.. our Acadia had same issue anytime we filled up with gas. purge valve is an easy fix, gl !

my 2008 GMC Acadia looks different under the hood is there another placement for the selenoid?
