I love you so much! I feel like I’ve known you for years as an ‘Internet friend’😊 thank you so much for your sweetness. Wishing you a lovely weekend xxx😘💖
The whole video was so interesting. My husband passed away in June, so we can't do any of the trips like this one that we talked about. it was very enjoyable - almost like being there.
Happy anniversary. I love Venice. I went there in the late 1970s, before it got too touristy. Back then the currency was in lire’s not euros and it was doing very badly. I was a teenager and I bought my first serious handbag there. It was in beautiful quality black leather inside and out (in style it was a lot like the pochette metis), and although it was thousands of lire, at the time that equalled around Aud50. Plus several pairs of leather shoes for around $20 that I wore for years. Those were the days. I am one of those people who love history and I really enjoyed your trip to the asylum. How they imagined the things they did would make people better is mind blowing. I do wish you had been able to show more history and culture.
Sophie walking along a pitch dark corridor "It's quite freaky in here..." David: " It's like you died...walk towards the light" You guys are hilarious! So good to see you two having a relaxing time in Venice! Happy anniversary
Oh Sophie,I am so glad you and David got to see Venice, for me after Paris Venice is my favorite city, the food, shopping the history is just amazing.I agree with you when a cruse ship is in ,it is a bit of a nightmare,so if you go back and that happens head for the back streets and you will find the most amazing shops and eateries where the local go,just amazing, and did you think the Venetian women and men are so glam,Best wishes Julie xxx
Absolutely loved this!!! I ran wild around the city as a 10 year old girl while my parents shopped and still have my Murano glass horse (just like the one in the glass demonstration!). You should've picked up a Venetian cape! They're warm and gorgeously made. Congratulations on your marriage and thank you for sharing your wonderful trip with all of us. ♥️
Your hubby is the BEST! Love the asylum tour- I’m like you, I love real history even if it’s disturbing. I screen shot restaurants and places from your video. Thanks. Watching you and your detailed descriptions of every is SO much fun!!! 🥰😘❤️
I don't really watch for shopping, I watch for you. I just find your presence really calming and enjoyable to watch. So I'll watch if its shopping or if its culture (I found the culture really interesting to see, It was like I was on holiday too through the screen). Wish you could have included more of it, even in a separate video. You guys look liked you had a great time! Happy anniversary!
Fascinating! I love how you shared not only the glam part of Venice but also something historical and different from the typical TH-camr travel vlog. Thank you for sharing!
Love this vlog including the historical and cultural portions. I have never stayed in Venice but this video inspired me to do a stay at a hotel and do a tour of nearby towns. Thank you.
I enjoy watching all your videos. Luxury or history. It's also really fun to watch you and David together. The fun you have, the things you two say and you can just tell you love each other. Thanks for sharing all this with us. I will watch any video you share, I just feel you are so honest and refreshing. Thanks again. Happy Anniversary and here's to many more years of happiness and love. Love from Kentucky, USA
It's really nice of you to inform us instead of care only what viewers need, be yourself do whatever you want , i believe that's what most of people love you from.
Awww, I love Venice. I bought my first ever designer item there - a Fendi wallet. I couldn’t afford anything more substantial. It’s still in perfect condition, 12 years later and I haven’t been kind to it. Freshly in love with my now-husband, I’ll always have very fond memories (and a wallet that reminds me of it, every time I spend more money 🙄).
Really enjoyed this video. I love the shopping, cultural information and your easy going relationship with your husband. It is obvious how much you respect and love each other.
Sophie, First of all.... thank you so much of thinking of us and allowing us to go shopping with you on this beautiful trip! I enjoy your all of your videos so much! You are the sweetest person!
The "history lessons" are wonderful. I'm only into designer fashion from a distance although I've been subscribed for a long time. I love it when you both show places you travel to. That being said, I do love cars and love it when you show them.
I really liked the history lesson. You have a knack for explaining things really well. I would even just watch videos of you vlogging your travels and experiences outside of shopping. I hope you do more
you are like me at the airport! I have something nice to eat, and also SHOP. I remember going to Europe from the US, with two daughters.... and they even have lovely shops for children. We bought this fabulous cute Napoleon Bonaparte doll, which we put as the tree topper on our holiday tree (we moved there for a few years for work, but went back and forth...). To this day, Napoleon is our tree topper and the children remember having fun "shopping with mom at the airport mall!"
Listen Sophie - I might be biased, but the asylum part was the BEST part of your vlog! Not that I’m looking for a history lesson, but rather, it’s nice to see the other things that YOU are interested.
I think that mental institution part was amazing. I know maybe people yeah watch you only for shopping but showing that person who is also educated and sophisticated not only with clothing choices but also with history and arts, is amazing!
I aspire to have a lifestyle like this omg. I had to sell all my designer items when I went through rough time but I really want to build my wardrobe again after seeing all the beautiful pieces in Sophies vlogs.
Thanks for taking us along. Venice is a perfect place for a wedding anniversary. I came here once with my boyfriend (now husband) and I remember we loved it. We were on a tight budget then, but the food and people were so good that we didn't seem to mind. It is still one of our favorite spots. Love your Dolce Gabbana dresses. I was surprised you carried both of your maestra to this trip. I remember you packing and didn't think they were both on your list of bags to bring. They are quite good for traveling!
Belated Happy Wedding Aniversary. May you have more wonderful memories together and good health. More blessings for you two for giving us happiness 🙂. And I'm soooo happy for the length of the video.❤
I was in Venice exactly 2 years ago and it was a magnificent city. Wonderful food, culture, shopping, architecture. I recommend visiting Venice to everyone.
Happy anniversary! I so enjoy all your travel vlogs - these are places I will never be able to visit so it's very interesting to me. The shopping is nice, but probably if you've seen one Chanel store you've seen them all! But everything else is unique. Thank you for the lovely tour.
Sophie, thanks to both you and David to a lovely video and taking us on your holiday. I really enjoyed the content. What is the lovely ring you are wearing, it is simply breathtaking.
This was a joy to watch! I've been to Venice just for a day, but got to ride in the boat taxi, walk around the streets and also got to see how the glass horse was made - Venice is definetly worth visiting!
My friend thank you so much for taking me along with David and yourself to Venice. It was so beautiful absolutely everything made me want to be right there with you guys real time. I’m so glad you guys are having an absolute ball falling in love all over again. Happy anniversary my loves 🎊🍸🌹💋💋💋love you so very much...
Those cups are absolutely gorgeous! I love that you bought something locally made, there's a lot of issues with tourists in Venice and it's great that you supported a local business
You and David are couple goals! I love that you guys are so independent of one another, but still are a power couple and the love is clearly evident. Cheers and happy anni!
I really enjoyed this video! Even though I do love high end fashion, this video was a breath of fresh air & looked like such a cool trip! I absolutely love history & museums & it was nice to see a bit of that in here. 💜👌🏻
Beautiful holiday Sophie. I can understand about the stressing part about packing. I stress about almost everything now when I'm no longer in my 20 s and is heading towards 40 in couple of years. Nevertheless hope you had a fabulous time with David and hope you remain in the pink of health babes. Love and light to you. Hope to meet you someday in London.
Hi Sophie. I loved the length of the video. Your trip was wonderful. Thank you for sharing it. Hope to see all your purchases soon. Happy anniversary!!! Have a wonderful weekend.
I've been watching you for years and years, and yes for the fashion insider aspect , but with that being said Travel is my first love, followed keenly by a curious mind and appreciation for the arts, history etc. My point is, if you love fashion as much as you do and yet off camera there's the intellectual side of your character that you keep offscreen, and if I love fashion, but am more than just my love for material things, then I think it safe to deduct that there may be several others of your audience that share this same interest. We may have found you because of fashion, but contrary to popular belief, intelligence and fashion are not mutually exclusive. This was my favourite vlog you have ever done, it's shows the substance behind the material aspect. :)
Happy Anniversary! I adore Venice. We’ve started going once a year since 2017. Am excited to see the Coulter all stuff you guys did. Can not wait to get back there next year. Lovely video! Xx
can't speak for anyone else but I watch your videos not just for the shopping. I watch because I enjoy everything you post; I enjoy your personality and David's too. The full museum tour with all the gnarly bits would've been super fun to see I found myself intrigued by the asylum :( welp. Thank you for all that you do post though it felt like I was seeing Venice with you guys! ^^ I've learned soooo much from you and I've gained an appreciation for fashion etc that I didn't have before. So if you do pop in a history lecture, I'd be a little more wiser I think! ^^ edit: I don't have instagram but looks like I'll head over there to scour Sophie's pageeeee~ weeeeeeeeeee more museuuuumm~~ :D
This was wonderful--I adore Venice but, I haven't been there in a long time. Being in Basilica San Marco with the bronze horses and the golden mosaics is a moment to cherish. I have actually shopped at dalla Olga (Olga is my mother's name) on Burano. I bought a peasant blouse with blue embroidery. You looked stunning in your white dress. An incredible video. The romantic theme is wonderful. Thank you, Sophie and David.
I love when you mix fashion with history and other monuments worth visiting. I really want to go to Venice and i neeed to go to the asylum, the history is so fascinating to see!
I loved Venice but I was not able to see and do as much as you did as I was there for only a day and a half. We spent most of that trip in Bologna and Lucca. Thank you for sharing! This video makes me want to go back so very badly!! Happy anniversary!
That is so sweet of you and David to take us on your anniversary trip Sophie!! I’ll be in Venice in 3 weeks, so I took notes, ha! Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Sophie! Love your vids and have been watching you now for a couple years. I finally sprung for a designer bag last weekend and chose the Chloe Mini Tess saddle bag and I love it. Although, not many people talk about Chloe and it doesn’t have a big obvious logo. The lack of an obvious logo is kind of bothering me because...well I spent a lot of money lol it’s got amazing quality though and I’ll just try to enjoy it anyway. Maybe one day I’ll get a Dior or Gucci bag...anyway always love the advice you give on buying the quality designer items that will last and not break down! Ps please don’t be afraid to include history and non fashion related subjects now and then! I was fascinated by that insane asylum you showed. Have a great day!
I'm a man subscriber. I like to see you both doing everyday stuff and travelling + shopping. I like and get the luxury items, but i'm not for that alone here. Thank you, keep it up.
This is such great feedback Vasko, and I feel really honoured to have you here and watching, so thank you! 😊🙏🏽 It’s good to know your thoughts because (especially on videos like this), it’s hard to know if it’ll be of interest to you guys. Have a great weekend my friend!xx😘😘
I loved those lace dresses you tried on. So beautiful. Also thank you for providing the Instagram portion for us culture lovers. Hope you two had a great holiday.
Venice is amazing. So glad you and David experienced the cultural bits. I was there in July and thought I'd die from the heat. I couldn't believe those glass blowers stood over those flames all day on top of it already being so hot! Thanks for sharing! CD
L❤️VED THE TOUR.......MORE MORE MORE PLLLEASE!!! FUN TO GO VICARIOUSLY WITH SOMEONE WHO DOES WHAT I WOULD DO AND TALKS ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES. I CANT GO NOW, BUT I CAN FEEL LIKE I WAS THERE! THANKS SOOOO MUCH!
How romantic. We spent our anniversary Aug 19, watching the new Lion King after going to the Richmond Science museum and planetarium. . 24 happy years. Praying you anniversary was blessed.
That was FANTASTIC!!! The best video ever...it kept me glued to the edge of my seat for half an hour...what a pity people would rather watch bags than see Venice...Good Job love love love!!
Oh my gosh you guys are GOALS!😍 You're so wonderful and hilarious together! And Sophie you're just simply one of the best vloggers out there💕 LOVED this video!
"Your holiday started when you married me."

Yes indeed! Also, I enjoyed the non-fashion topics!
that's exactly why I like Sophie - she's not pretentious!
Sophie, I so enjoyed this! Thank you 🙏
I swear girl, you are lovelier every year.
David is lovely too lol
Sophie saying "ew" to fur on that jacket is such a mood I love it.
Quick comment during viewing: history lesson WELCOMED. We watch for all if it, not "just shopping". Thank you for showing the museum.
Your husband is a hoot - "You've just died. Walk toward the light." ;)
1:45 “That’s a nice jacket …” 😍
“You have to be drunk 🥴 to wear that …”
😂
Lol, he has a way with words 😂😂😂 Have a lovely weekend my friend!🥳xx😘😘

I went to Venice for my 50th birthday last year in March. It was fantastic and totally empty. Seeing the gondolas with snow on them was amazing.
I just realized that David's voice is perfect for reading a book - like doing an audible book. He sounds similar to ones I already hear :) Love it!
