Mate I absolutely love it! ( if you hadn’t been able to tell haha) and again, thankyou so much K! Haha yeh well the rough with the smooth n all that, I was kinda glad for the opportunity to be able to shift the bale storage over to the left a bit anyway to satisfy the OCD ha!! :)
Excellent episode, Farmer Sim. Well, what beautiful additions and alterations by Kimera. Makes The Vintage Oaks even more special. The lady is so talented in her designs and placements. Your content was up there too Farmer Sim. Look forward to next one.
@Kimera3083 have absolut done a beautiful job with that farm build mate 😊 With this video you did top it up aswell. Yeah these Fields are absolut massive 😅
Yea I’ve got that mod, I was thinking of using it to do the job! If I can’t find a period correct animal trailer it’ll definitely be the way forward! :)
Were you able to buy a cow pasture without deleting an existing one? I tried to place a new cowshed in my savegame and the game told me I couldn't buy it so I tried the more husbandry mod and it ended up messing my savegame completely. I can't load it even backups are messed while the mod as been deleted after the first failed loading 😢
Hello mate, sorry to hear you’re having these issues! Yes I had to use the more animal husbandries mod too but it didn’t cause me any adverse affects. And none of your backups are working at all? I’d try running the save with as few if not no mods at all and see if it loads…If it does load, try adding the mods you were using a few at a time and see if that works…
@@Farmer-Sim I ended up loading successfully an older savegame from the day before. Must be a mod conflict between more husbandry and an unknown mod. Will have to do some further investigation...
I can't understand why modmakers who do sheds with all those pillars in the opening. They are of metal, several of them could be removed. The building will still stand right and it would be easir to get equipment out and in the shed. Brisco have made a super nice shed, the one with all off Farmer Sims trailers in. No need for all pillars.
Hello mate, sheds like those are pretty common over here to be fair, and I had spec’d the plow to its widest width. Had I kept it standard it would’ve fitted through no problem :)
Be in no doubt, Farmer Sim, I am a huge fan of your work, and would be mortified if you thought I was being disrespectful in any way. BUT. As the son of a man who lived and breathed agriculture through the 70s 80s and 90s (and as much younger man in the 50s), only 35 minutes away from The OaksI irl, I have to say that he would not recognise this episode as ploughing. Maybe it’s as simple as the spelling? - I’m sure our American friends would see this as “plowing”, but I’m equally sure that someone from this part of the world and from the time-period would argue that it isn’t “ploughing” Dad would often be part of a synchronised ploughing gang of 3 tractors, each with only 3 (and later 4) furrow conventional ploughs, working on fields way smaller than you have on this map. I hope everyone appreciates that I put this out there for discussion purposes, not criticism And - full disclosure - I almost always use a “plow” on FS be cause I totally get that “proper ploughing” is very slow in-game, just as it was in real life back in the day 😉
@@fallguy3987 oh not at all buddy, no disrespect taken my friend. I do understand your point about the plowing/ploughing….gods honest truth when it comes to this game I just hate using the conventional furrow plows/ploughs. I’ve always gone for a more square shaped one as I’ve always enjoyed field creation etc on other maps/series and find them to be a whole load easier to work with. And on this map especially with the fields being the size they are, the 4 hours it took me would’ve easily been 5-6 using the narrower furrow types haha! Thoroughly appreciate your comment though mate, it’s always nice to hear from actual farmers who have actual experience in real life! You never know, when my bank account allows for my machinery to get bigger….i may start doing it ‘properly’ haha :)
the farm looks awesome that is some amazing work. i totally forgot my handle was Mr.clean ed4gy. not really a breaker but the ford should have a mp-lift attachment its one where there goes a bar across the hood. but its up to you if you want to change it.
Glad to have helped! ☺And glad you like the build, it was a pleasure to do it.
We'll get revenge against those straw bales that ran off on us! 😜

Thankyou very much mate! Glad you’re enjoying the series! :)
You can sort of move the animals on foot if you have the herdsman’s stick mod
Yea I’ve got that mod, I was thinking of using it to do the job! If I can’t find a period correct animal trailer it’ll definitely be the way forward! :)
are you going to update your mod list on your Discort for this series ?
Hey Dutch! Yes it’s on my to do list mate, will get to it asap! :)

"Paying" £80k sounds like a bargain for a new farm.
Haha yeh couldn’t agree more mate! A bargain at twice the price! :)

Would have been nice to see proper ploughing.
What is proper plowing?
And what I was doing was what exactly??
